PlayStation Plus subscribers on the Extra and Premium plans will get nine new games to enjoy on both PS5 and PS4, as the full list for 2025 has been announced.
December’s game lineup looks really strong, with a number of titles that could easily be the main attraction.
Let’s begin with Assassin’s Creed Mirage, released in 2023. This game returns to the series’ roots, focusing on classic stealth and parkour gameplay rather than the role-playing elements found in recent Assassin’s Creed titles.
It’s not perfect and the gameplay isn’t always smooth, but if you’re a fan of the original games, it’s worth checking out.
If you prefer fast-paced combat to stealth, you’ll likely enjoy both Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty and Granblue Fantasy: Relink.
Team Ninja, the creators of Nioh, have delivered another challenging action game, similar in style to the Souls series, but more focused and accessible. While simpler than Nioh, it features impressive boss fights and rewarding combat.
The same holds true for Relink, Cygames’ action RPG. This game was in development for years before it finally came out last February, but we believe it was well worth the wait – it’s a surprisingly good game that deserves more attention.
LEGO Horizon Adventures blends the world of Aloy’s robotic creature hunts with the classic LEGO building experience. The game is a playful, action-packed platformer inspired by PlayStation games and enjoyable for players of any age.
For families with younger children, you’ll be happy to know this month’s games include not one, but two PAW Patrol titles – a sure hit with the little ones!
Okay, so with the Premium tier, we’re getting just one classic game this time: SoulCalibur 3. It’s a fantastic PlayStation 2 fighting game and I’m really excited to play it again! But honestly, I’m still not sure if the Premium subscription is worth it when they only offer one game at a time.
Okay, so I’m really curious to hear everyone’s thoughts on the PS Plus Extra and Premium games coming in December 2025! Definitely going to check out the polls, and I’d love to see what you all think in the comments too – let’s discuss!
