This month’s PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium lineups feature eight new games, and they’re perfectly themed for the Halloween season! Get ready for some thrills and chills whenever you’re ready to play.
October’s Extra selection features some spooky choices, beginning with the highly-rated remake of Silent Hill 2. Bloober Team impressed many with this reimagining of the Konami classic, making it a great game to play during Halloween weekend if you have the time.
The PS5 version of Until Dawn is still a good way to play, even though some players feel it’s not as good as other versions due to some strange changes to how characters look and how the lighting works. However, if you haven’t experienced this game yet, it’s definitely worth checking out for its over-the-top, campy thrills.
V Rising is a really engaging action RPG with survival and crafting, while Yakuza: Like a Dragon isn’t scary at all, but it’s incredibly fun. This game marked the series’ first attempt at a traditional RPG format, and it delivers an amazing experience.
PlayStation Plus Premium members are currently getting only one game this month, but it’s a really good one! Tekken 3 is a beloved classic from the original PlayStation and is worth playing for its nostalgic feel.
