Well, that’s another Geoff Keighley showcase done, and another four hours gone by! It was quite a long event.
Don’t let our disappointment ruin your day – you might have actually loved The Game Awards 2025! Either way, we’d appreciate it if you’d share your opinion in our poll.
Even though the event still feels overly long, this year brought some exciting news. We’re getting a new Tomb Raider game, players will be able to control Leon Kennedy in Resident Evil Requiem, and Larian Studios is working on a massive new Divinity RPG – their biggest project yet!
There were a lot of exciting announcements, including a glimpse of Saros, confirmation of a new Ace Combat game (the eighth installment), the reveal of a new game from the former director of Yakuza – essentially a spiritual successor called Gang of Dragon, and a confirmed release date for Phantom Blade Zero. Plus, a new Control game is in the works! As you can imagine, there was plenty of news to cover.
