January 2026 started off slowly, but February quickly picked up the pace.
February was packed with new game releases, including several major titles. This means we’re expecting a close competition for our Game of the Month award.
Last month had a little something for every gamer. Fans of classic Japanese role-playing games enjoyed the updated Dragon Quest 7, while those looking for fast-paced action could dive into Nioh 3. And for those who loved the original God of War, Sons of Sparta offered a fresh take on the beloved series.
We saw a really diverse range of games, from the quirky ‘Romeo Is a Dead Man’ to the lighthearted ‘High on Life 2’, and even ‘Avowed’, which used to be exclusive to Xbox. It was a pretty varied lineup!
Let’s not forget the fantastic Resident Evil Requiem – it was a truly impressive way to finish off the month!
Okay, before we jump into voting, let me quickly remind everyone about the Game of the Month winners for 2026! It’s early in the year, so we only have one winner so far, but I’m excited to see what else comes out!
