We’d heard whispers for a long time, but the official announcement of Horizon Hunters Gathering still feels exciting.
Horizon Call of the Mountain is Sony’s take on a cooperative game within the Horizon universe. Up to three players can team up as unique, pre-built hunters, each with their own special weapons and skills.
This project remarkably avoided being cancelled during Sony’s recent cuts to live service games, and it’s likely been in the works for several years already.
The game looks great at first sight, and its art style is noticeably different from the main Horizon games featuring Aloy.
The game has a distinctive, cartoon-like style with vibrant colors and excellent animation. However, reactions to the visuals have been sharply divided online, and many PlayStation players remain unhappy with the idea of a game that’s constantly updated with new content and features.
This topic is already generating a lot of debate, so we’re running this poll to get your first impressions of Horizon Hunters Gathering. Please vote, and then share your thoughts in the comments!
