Heart Machine, the team behind *Hyper Light Breaker* (which is still in development for PC), is releasing its next game, *Possessor(s)*, on November 11th. The game is finished, and a new trailer featuring commentary from the game director, Alx Preston, and other developers is now available to watch.
In the not-so-distant future, after a mysterious dimensional collapse, Luca teams up with Rhem. The disaster was caused by the Agradyne corporation draining Rhem’s energy, and now they must fight to survive together. This action game features side-scrolling gameplay and a surprisingly quirky arsenal of weapons, including guitars, a computer mouse, and even sunglasses!
Battles are inspired by games like Super Smash Bros., letting you control attack directions and chain together moves for powerful combos. You’ll also have plenty of ways to move around, including a whip, a grappling hook for quick travel, wall-running, and the ability to break through floors.
Possessor(s) will be available for PS5 and PC. Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks.
