The Power Rangers are gearing up for a big comeback in 2026, and a new live-action series on Disney+ is one of the most exciting projects in the works. It’s now confirmed that the team behind the Percy Jackson and the Olympians show will be involved, and rumors are circulating about a cast that includes actors from Disney and Avatar: The Last Airbender, among others.
According to film and TV insider @Jinsakuu, who has accurately leaked Power Rangers news before, several actors are being considered for roles in the upcoming Power Rangers show. These potential cast members include Shaun Dixon, Paris Bravo, Judd Goodstein, Momoma Tamada, Christian Alexander Cruz, and Kira McLean. While casting is still in progress, these actors are reportedly all being evaluated for the project.

The Rumored Power Rangers Reboot Cast Has Big Potential

Dixon is no stranger to Disney, having played Elijah in Vamperina: Teenage Vampire. He’s also appeared in shows like CSI: Vegas and The Neighborhood. Paris Bravo has worked on several projects too, including the horror films Stay Out and The Cursed Man, and contributed to the stunts in Venom: The Last Dance.
Momoma Tamada, who plays Ty Lee in Avatar: The Last Airbender, has also appeared in The Spiderwick Chronicles and The Baby-Sitters Club. Judd Goodstein is known for his role in You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah and is also in The Revenge of La Llorona.
The last two actors are Christian Alexander Cruz and Kira McLean. Cruz has appeared in shows like New Girl and Avery, and the short film Ash’s Homecoming. McLean’s credits include Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, the video game Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, and the film Permanent.
Dixon and Bravo reportedly have backgrounds in martial arts, which is a definite plus for a Power Rangers series. These potential cast members seem like a good fit for a Power Rangers reboot, and the current list of six is exactly the right number for a team of Rangers. While none of this is confirmed yet, and the final cast could be different, it’s exciting news, and it would be surprising if none of these actors ended up with a role.
