Playmates Toys’ Power Rangers Re-Ignition line launched successfully last year with figures, Dinozords, a Megazord, and roleplay items like the Blade Blaster, Dragon Dagger, and Power Ranger masks. The initial release was popular with fans, and Playmates is now revealing new additions. We’re getting a first look at several items focused on the White Ranger, including the Tigerzord and Saba sword.
Fans have been eagerly awaiting a White Ranger toy from the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers line. Now, thanks to Angel Grove Collectibles’ preview at the Melbourne Toy Fair (reported by RangerBoard), we have a first look at the White Ranger Auto Morphin figure, the Tigerzord, Saba sword, and the White Ranger mask. You can find details and images below.

The Power Rangers Re-Ignition Line Has Already Completed The Main Team (With One Exception)
As a Power Rangers collector, I’ve been watching the “Re-Ignition” line closely, and it’s moving fast. Now that they’ve included the White Ranger and all his gear in the toy series, it feels like they’re racing through the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers team at an incredible pace. It’s exciting, but a little dizzying for those of us who like to savor each release!

The initial release of Auto Morphin figures included the Red, Yellow, Blue, Black, Pink, and Green Rangers. Playmates has also announced that figures of Aisha, Rocky, and Adam, as well as the White Ranger Tommy, are coming soon. This will give collectors all of the Mighty Morphin Rangers across just two releases, with each figure priced between $19.00 and $23.95.

Besides the action figures, Playmates Toys has already launched the Green Ranger’s Dragon Dagger, and they plan to release Saba, the White Ranger’s signature weapon. Since the Dragon Dagger cost $19.99, a reasonable estimate for Saba’s price would be around $25.99 or lower.
The Tigerzord is another key piece, as it transforms into the White Ranger’s signature Zord, though he also pilots the Falconzord. We haven’t seen any indication of the Falconzord being released in this current collection, but if these toys are successful, hopefully the Falconzord will be added soon.
The Dragonzord, a Power Rangers Zord that hasn’t appeared yet, is apparently delayed because a retailer hasn’t been secured to sell it exclusively. Hopefully, Playmates Toys can find a way to release it soon, as its absence is a significant gap in the current Mighty Morphin collection.
You can build your own Megazord by collecting the five Power Rangers Zords and combining them. However, the ability to combine it with the Dragonzord is absent. While the Tigerzord is great, the Dragonzord is essential for completing the full set and accurately recreating classic transformations from the original show.
The first wave of Playmate Toys’ Re-Ignition line is in stores now.
