The team at Capcom is happy to announce that Pragmata is finished and ready for release! After a long development process focused on perfecting the game, they’ve thanked their fans for their support and shared a picture of the developers with the game’s main characters, Hugh and Diana. The image also features some unsettling robots, hinting at the challenges players will face. Everything seems to be on track for a smooth launch.
The game takes place in a lunar research station overrun by violent robots after an earthquake. Players control Hugh, who can stun enemies with weapons like shotguns and pistols, but can’t actually destroy them. That’s where Diana, a human-like android, comes in – she hacks the robots to reveal their vulnerabilities.
This game is a third-person shooter where players control both Hugh and Diana. You’ll switch between dodging enemy attacks and shooting as Hugh, while also solving intricate, maze-like puzzles as Diana. You can enhance your abilities with different hacking modules – some will even boost your damage – and find even more upgrades at the Shelter.
Pragmata will be released on April 17th for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2. You can also try a free demo that’s already been downloaded over two million times.
I was so excited for Dragon’s Dogma 2 when it was originally planned for April 24th, but Capcom actually moved the release date forward! It sounds like development is going really smoothly, which is awesome. I just read a great article that covers everything you need to know, and honestly, it’s making me think this could be one of the most interesting games coming out in 2026!
PRAGMATA has officially GONE GOLD! 🏆
