It appeared as though the quality of the Predator series had taken a nosedive, but the arrival of ‘Prey’ completely turned that around. This film, similar to Alien: Resurrection’s Romulus, has revitalized the franchise and garnered both critical and commercial success. With sequels in development, we now have our first glimpse at the full Predator Badlands trailer.
In the far-off future, I find myself cast away as a solitary Predator on a distant planet. My path crosses with an unexpected companion named Thia, portrayed by Elle Fanning. Together, we venture forth on a perilous expedition to confront our greatest foe yet.
According to the recently released trailer, it’s confirmed that this upcoming film features a Predator as the main character, played by Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi. The Predator goes by the name Dek in the movie, which was filmed in New Zealand at the end of 2024. Director Dan Trachtenberg is excited to reveal that the brief glimpse we got in the teaser trailer will be expanded into a full-blown monster extravaganza, and frankly, we can’t wait!
The film is set for a November 7th release.
