Hailee Steinfeld might have a pitch perfect name in store.
Okay, so I’m totally obsessed with Hailee Steinfeld, and you guys, I think I just cracked the code for her baby’s name! She posted this adorable picture on her Beau Society newsletter – seriously, you have to check it out – of a little knitted sweater under the Christmas tree. And get this – it had ‘Baby Beau’ embroidered on it! She and Josh Allen are expecting, and I’m convinced ‘Beau’ is going to be the little one’s name! I’ve been stalking her Substack ever since, and I’m pretty sure this is a huge hint. I’m already picturing it!
The Academy Award winner posted more photos, including some with Josh, and shared her thoughts on 2025. She described the year as being full of important events and personal growth that she’s still trying to understand.
The name Beau is particularly meaningful to Hailee, as she’d mentioned before, and holds a special place for her and her family.
She shared with her fans in a recent newsletter that her parents couldn’t agree on a name for her before she was born – they were choosing between Hailee and Bailee.
She explained that her parents initially favored the name Hailee, but also liked Bailee, so they combined them, calling her ‘Hailee Beau Bailee’ before eventually just calling her Beau.
She added, “It’s a childhood nickname that I never dropped.”
Hailee and Josh got married in May, and in December, Hailee announced she was pregnant. She shared the news in a video on her Substack, showing Josh kissing her baby bump.
She recently turned 29 and reflected on the past year, describing it as a period of growth and change. She noted that the experiences of turning 28 were both wonderful and grounding, and helped her appreciate how valuable life is.
Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen were already planning to start a family after their wedding, and Hailee has spoken about how much her life has changed for the better since marrying Josh.
She told Bustle in November that the sense of calm and stability she’s found is impossible to put into words. She’s incredibly grateful to have found her partner, calling it “the greatest thing in the world” and saying it’s brought meaning to her life. Josh was just as thrilled to start his new job, especially with all the encouragement he and Hailee received from friends and colleagues.
He shared in a December interview after a game that the support from his teammates and friends has been amazing. He added that it’s a particularly meaningful time for him and his wife.

Josh and Hailee quickly became a public couple, appearing together on the red carpet at the NFL Honors just months after getting engaged. While accepting his MVP award, Josh lovingly acknowledged Hailee in his speech.
He told her she was his greatest support and closest friend, and that he wouldn’t have been able to achieve this moment without her.
The couple exchanged vows in a beautiful California wedding. The bride wore a strapless gown with elegant elbow-length gloves.
