She gracefully shared this heartwarming moment on Instagram yesterday, where she revealed the big news for the very first time.
31-year-old Love Island celebrity appeared taken aback in the picture, only a few days after announcing her pregnancy, and subsequently, The Sun disclosed that she would be having another child with her incarcerated boyfriend Billy Webb, who is also the father of their daughter Lucia.
In a Q&A session, someone asked, “I’m so happy for you! Aren’t you going to reveal the baby’s gender?” To which Shaughna responded by posting a picture of herself with an amazed expression and captioned it, “We already know the gender, this was my reaction when I found out.
As a lifestyle expert, I’m sharing some personal news: I had initially planned for my baby to arrive in November, but due to a scheduled C-Section, I anticipate welcoming my little one a bit earlier than expected.
Shaughna clarified that she had initially decided to have the procedure after the difficult delivery of her two-year-old child. However, medical professionals also recommended it because she was experiencing a condition called low-lying placenta.
In her recollection of Lucia’s birth, she penned: ‘Two days past due, labor lasted for two days, I pushed for an hour but she wasn’t responding. She became extremely anxious and we had to resort to forceps delivery, which didn’t work because she turned in the wrong position. This led to an emergency C-Section, resulting in a postpartum hemorrhage.’
As a devoted fan, I’ve always made it clear that I would go to great lengths to prevent any repeat of the distress my baby experienced. Consequently, in anticipation of any future additions to our family, I have decided to opt for a C-section.
During my 20-week ultrasound, they discovered a low-lying placenta, indicating the possibility of a cesarean section. Ultimately, it seemed that a cesarean delivery might be necessary, which wasn’t really my preferred option.
In April 2023, following the birth of his child Lucia, Billy, aged 29, received a sentence of nine years in prison. This came after he admitted to being involved in a plot to distribute approximately 4.5kg of cocaine, valued at over £360,000.
In an interview with The Mirror on Thursday, Shaughna shared that she conceived when her ovulation cycle matched a time when Billy was at home.
‘It was the first time that my ovulation window coincided with Billy being home,’ Shaughna said.
‘When I thought about it, I decided, “Why not give it a try?” So, the following day, I told Billy, “I believe I might be pregnant”.’
She went on to hint that Billy is set for early release and will be here for the birth.
Shaughna stated: ‘I have the date when he should return home, yet I’m hesitant to share it since unexpected events might occur. However, I truly hope that he will be back completely before my baby arrives.’
Over the last seven months, Shaughna and Billy have had fun spending quality time together during their family outings, as Billy has been temporarily released for daily activities from a penitentiary with open facilities.
According to an inside source, Billy has been housed in a Category D prison, allowing him more freedom to interact with Shaughna for extended periods.
“Despite not being fully freed as some had anticipated, he still made it home for Christmas – a gesture that held significant value for both her and Lucia. Nevertheless, he enjoys certain advantages.
In Category D penitentiaries, inmates with a low perceived risk are granted more freedom. These individuals can step outside the facility for work, resettlement, or educational purposes during daytime hours.

On Sunday, Shaughna shared a video of herself taking a pregnancy test and proudly displayed her expanding belly, announcing her pregnancy.
Apart from making the announcement, she additionally posted a heartwarming video featuring her two-year-old daughter Lucia. In the video, Lucia was seen donning a T-shirt that read “Big Sis” and “In my big sister era.” This outfit matched the content of the announcement.
Shaughna didn’t disclose the identity of her baby’s father, instead saying: ‘Bringing some extra love into our household…’
Shaughna disclosed that the pair celebrated Christmas in December, as they were reunited with their family to experience a festive grotto together.

In an episode of her podcast Oh, Baby, she bravely opened up about the challenges she faced in accepting the circumstances, alongside Shaughna and Holly.

Suddenly, here I am, finding myself in this situation. What seems clear, though, is that we will forever remain joint parents.
Furthermore, I can confidently say that my bond with my father has been unparalleled, and as far as I’m concerned, he is simply the finest individual on this planet.
