President Donald Trump Diagnosed With Chronic Venous Insufficiency

President Donald Trump has a new medical diagnosis.

The leader, who is 79 years old, was recently diagnosed with a non-critical health issue known as chronic venous insufficiency, following reports of mild swelling in his legs. This information was disclosed by the president’s doctor in a written statement.

In the White House statement dated July 17, Dr. Sean Barbabella reported that the President had a thorough evaluation which included vascular tests. Specifically, Doppler ultrasounds were conducted on both legs and uncovered chronic venous inadequacy, a relatively harmless and widespread condition among people over 70.

As a lifestyle expert, I’d like to emphasize that during our recent examination, I found no signs of Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) or any form of arterial disease. This is great news for maintaining the health and well-being of your circulatory system!

A condition known as chronic venous insufficiency (CVI) arises when leg veins fail to effectively return blood to the heart because they’ve been damaged. This leads to a buildup of blood in the veins of the legs. As reported by the Cleveland Clinic, this is the case.

Additionally, Dr. Barbabella discussed the latest images of the president’s hands that exhibit slight discolorations or marks at the back.

The doctor explained that the symptoms could be due to regular handshakes causing slight soft tissue inflammation, and also because the patient is on aspirin, which is often prescribed as part of heart health maintenance. It’s worth noting that this side effect of aspirin, known as minor irritation, is common and harmless.

Just prior to Dr. Barbabella’s memo being made public, Karoline Leavitt shared similar information with journalists, stating emphatically, “The President continues to be in great health,” as reported by NBC News.

And Trump’s medical physical that was released three months prior echoed that sentiment.

According to a memo written by Dr. Barbabella in April, President Trump’s energetic routine significantly enhances his health. His days are filled with attending numerous meetings, making public appearances, taking questions from the press, and regularly winning at golf tournaments.

The findings indicate that President Trump demonstrates exceptional mental and physical wellness, making him fully capable of carrying out the responsibilities as both Commander-in-Chief and Head of State.

In 2014, the actress who played a pivotal role in “12 Years a Slave” was diagnosed with fibroids, which are benign growths that can occur within or near the uterus. Remarkably, this diagnosis came in the same year she won an Oscar for her exceptional performance in that movie.

Yet, it wasn’t until the year 2025 that she revealed her diagnosis, posting on Instagram that she had been enduring in secret for over a decade.

In my fervor, I confess, during our journey into maturity, the concept instilled was that periods equate to pain, and this agony was just another aspect we females must bear. It seems we wrestle in solitude over an issue that profoundly impacts us all.

In July 2025, the member of Daisy Jones & The Six band disclosed that she was admitted to the hospital due to a hernia – an issue where there’s a tear or weakness in the muscle wall often found in the abdomen or groin region – which developed from wearing tight-fitting trousers.

She wrote on X, the platform that used to be called Twitter, “Suki, you don’t post tweets anymore.” She added, “About six months ago, my pants were so tight they gave me a hernia. I’ve been hesitant to mention it to you because I was afraid.

In April 2025, the former cast member of “Beverly Hills, 90210” shared that he was recuperating following an appendix operation, as it had almost ruptured.

A week ago, Brian mentioned in an Instagram video that he began experiencing discomfort in his abdomen. This led him to visit the emergency room, where it was discovered that he had a nearly ruptured appendix.

He added, “I’m on the road to recovery. It’s not an easy process. This is my first major surgery.”

Adam Devine revealed that the injuries he suffered at age 11, following an accident involving a cement truck, continue to impact him up until now.

Let me tell you, it’s been a living hell,” I shared during a 2025 episode of the In Depth With Graham Bensinger podcast. “My body has been wracked with spasms everywhere. At one point, they thought I was on my way out – literally, within the past year.

He mentioned that pain occasionally appears, and he expressed, “My body seems to have its share of minor issues and imperfections.

Previously on Bachelor Nation, this ex-contestant disclosed his trip to the hospital, crawling on hands and knees, as a result of severe back pain that intensified during a camping trip with a buddy.

In a March 2025 episode of his “Trading Secrets” podcast, he remarked, “At the moment, from my knees to my toes, it’s unusually tingly, which is astonishing.” To give you some context, let me clarify that just a couple of weeks or perhaps a month ago, I was squatting about 295 pounds. Now, I can’t even do a single-leg squat without falling over. It’s as if I’ve had a stroke or something.

But with the help of a back specialist and some steroids, he added, “We’re on the mend.”

Back in March 2025, Gina Kirschenheiter from the show Real Housewives of Orange County revealed that her former spouse, Matt Kirschenheiter, had a heart attack. Fortunately, he made it through this harrowing experience.

30 Rock’s leading actor faced a sudden health issue during a New York Knicks match in March 2025, causing him to be moved from Madison Square Garden in a stretcher.

On the next day, the comedian posted an update on social media, explaining it was food poisoning and he was recovering well.

In February 2025, the actress who starred in “Even Stevens” revealed that she had been accidentally shot in the face during a trip where they were shooting clay pigeons to celebrate her husband Brendan Rooney’s birthday.

At the event, another person carelessly discharged a weapon incorrectly, striking me in the face. Instantly, @thebrendanrooney took charge, evaluated my injuries, and swiftly transported me to the hospital. I was wounded in five spots, with one bullet coming dangerously close to hitting my right eye directly.

The former star from “Kim Possible” added, “Regrettably, a piece became stuck near my eye, and it’s not safe for surgery right now. However, doctors are keeping a close watch on my condition; I can see clearly as of now.

The actress expressed her gratitude for being alive by saying that she deeply cherishes her daughters, husband, family, and friends. She shared how she had a near-death experience where she saw glimpses of her life, emphasizing the importance of embracing loved ones whenever possible, as life can unexpectedly transform in a moment.

In a surprising turn of events, Amy Schumer is grateful that the internet, often harsh, provided her with valuable insights in this particular instance. Recalling an episode of Call Her Daddy from January 2025, she laughed off the criticism about her changed appearance and joked, “OK everybody, relax.” However, medical professionals chimed in with comments suggesting she might have Cushing syndrome due to unusual changes in her face. Initially taken aback by being trolled by doctors, Amy was eventually led to the realization that she had been receiving steroid injections for her scars.

Upon discovering this connection, Amy remembered, “I had been getting these steroid injections… So it gave me this thing called Cushing syndrome, which I wouldn’t have known if the internet hadn’t come for me so hard.” Now, Amy is simply relieved to know she’s okay. As she shared in a February 2024 News Not Noise newsletter, “Finding out I have the kind of Cushing that will work itself out and I’m healthy was the best possible news.

During a game in December 2024, an AHL player got sliced by another player’s skate and needed 25 stitches to close the wound. Later, when their son had completely healed, New Jersey Devils general manager Tom Fitzgerald expressed gratitude to ESPN, saying, “We were incredibly fortunate. I wouldn’t wish that experience on any other parent.

Hailey Bieber experienced a terrifying incident when she suffered stroke-like symptoms during breakfast with her husband Justin Bieber in March 2022. As she struggled to respond, the right side of her face drooped, and she couldn’t speak properly. Despite these alarming symptoms, they subsided quickly, but Hailey decided to visit the hospital for a checkup.

Doctors discovered a small blood clot in her brain, classified as a Transient Ischemic Attack (TIA). Further investigation at the University of California, Los Angeles revealed that she had a hole in her heart called a patent foramen ovale (PFO). The blood clot passed through this hole into her heart and then escaped to her brain, causing the TIA.

Hailey underwent a successful PFO closure procedure and reported feeling well since then.

In the same year as Hailey’s health incident, Justin Bieber also encountered a similar health issue. Specifically, in June 2022, Justin revealed his diagnosis with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome, which led to temporary paralysis in certain parts of his face and ultimately forced him to postpone the rest of his Justice World Tour. Justin explained on Instagram that this condition affected the nerve in his ear and facial nerves, causing one-sided facial paralysis. He mentioned that he couldn’t blink his eye, smile, or move his nostril on that side of his face. The paralysis made eating difficult for him initially but eventually subsided. Hailey shared on a June 2022 episode of Good Morning America that Justin is doing well and recovering, although the situation was initially quite scary. She added that he’s feeling better now and she’s grateful that he’s in good health.

Jamie Foxx initially chose to keep his April 2023 hospitalization a private matter, but later shared his experience. In Atlanta, he recalled saying to a friend, “I need an aspirin,” but before he could get one, he fainted and lost consciousness for 20 days.

Initially examined by a doctor who administered a cortisone shot and sent him home, Foxx’s sister, Deidra Dixon, then drove him to another hospital where they discovered the cause: a brain bleed leading to a stroke. After undergoing surgery on the 20th day, Foxx woke up May 4 in a wheelchair unable to walk. He then traveled to Chicago for rehabilitation and therapy.

“I want to express my gratitude for every prayer,” he said, “because I needed every one of them.

Emilia Clarke filmed intense battle scenes for Game of Thrones, but in 2019, she penned an essay titled “A Battle for My Life” in The New Yorker. In the gym, she described experiencing an excruciating headache which led to vomiting profusely and worsening pain that she knew was related to brain damage.

She was rushed to the hospital where they discovered a subarachnoid hemorrhage, a severe type of stroke caused by bleeding in the brain’s surrounding area. She underwent immediate surgery to repair the aneurysm, describing the pain as unbearable. During recovery, she also suffered from aphasia and spoke incoherently.

A week later, her aphasia subsided, and she was discharged from the hospital after a month. However, a follow-up brain scan in 2013 revealed that the growth had doubled in size, necessitating another surgery. She recalled waking up from the procedure to find that it had failed, and she faced precarious odds of survival as they performed a second operation through her skull.

Fortunately, Emilia confirmed that she is now completely recovered and doing well.

Snoop Dogg’s daughter, Cori Broadus, expresses her gratitude towards her family following a severe stroke in January 2024. In her conversation with TopMob News correspondent Will Marfuggi in December 2024, she recounted how they quickly rallied to support her. “I informed them I had a stroke via text and sent a picture,” Cori said. “Everyone came to my aid.”

Due to other health complications, Cori’s hospital stay extended beyond her initial expectations. She shared, “Initially, I could have returned home after the stroke, but my lupus wasn’t cooperating well. My kidneys were failing, and there was much going on.”

Now, Cori is recovering well. “I’m doing well,” she stated. “My main challenge was regaining some motor skills, but otherwise, I was fine.

During my twenties, my well-being took an unexpected turn for the worse. My health issues escalated to the point where I started losing my hearing, struggled to walk without needing extended rests, and experienced persistent stomach pains with every meal. Various doctors provided different diagnoses, making it a challenging puzzle to solve.

Determined to uncover the truth, I embarked on an exploration of modern medicine as well as alternative healing methods, blending conventional medical advice with traditional herbal remedies. This journey was far from easy, but it became my mission to find relief and regain my sense of comfort in my own body.

The road to recovery spanned over a decade, during which I grappled with additional challenges related to my physical discomfort. My fear of food intensified due to the pain, leading me down a path of anxiety and body dysmorphia. I struggled to understand my identity and feel secure in my own skin.

Fortunately, after addressing both my mental and physical health concerns, I am now in a much better place. The challenges I faced eventually led to a resolution, and I can proudly say that I am healthy and happy today.
