The game PowerWash Simulator offers an incredibly gratifying gaming experience for some players, making it hard to find anything more fulfilling.
Engaging in the therapeutic act of blasting dirt off grime-ridden items with a powerful jet stream of water, transforming them from grimy to gleaming, brings about an unexpected sense of tranquility and satisfaction. It’s a delightful pastime that I find myself immersed in.
As an ardent fan, I can’t help but get excited about PowerWash Simulator 2! The original game was already brimming with hours upon hours of enjoyable cleaning action, but this sequel is promising even more of the delightful experience – with fresh and enhanced features that elevate it to a whole new level.
Through a two-hour remote play of the upcoming sequel, it’s evident that FuturLab has a solid understanding of what made the original game popular. They have preserved the essential elements while cleverly expanding upon them.
Initially, long-standing gamers can take delight in the significant update to the soap item; it’s now a valuable addition to your gaming resources. The revamped soap produces much more noticeable foam, making it easier to spot. Moreover, by rinsing it off with water, you can effortlessly remove even the most stubborn dirt spots.
Certain individuals may persist in utilizing only water for cleaning, yet it’s worth mentioning that soap offers significant improvements in the PWS2 system. Notably, soap can expedite the cleaning process when applied to hard-to-reach areas or exceptionally dirty spots.
One of the simpler stages involved washing a car decorated like a dog. Covering the entire automobile with soap prior to rinsing it off with water greatly expedited the process, making it much more manageable compared to doing it without soap.
Another assignment required us to clean a massive outdoor advertising board, providing an excellent opportunity to display new equipment in the upcoming edition. The innovative scaffolding now includes a side ladder for convenient climbing, allowing one to quickly ascend to greater heights.
Moreover, certain stages come equipped with a winch-mounted seat that allows for vertical and horizontal movement, enabling efficient cleaning of expansive areas. This significantly simplifies tasks such as billboard maintenance.
Apart from using the scissor lift on our usual stage, we had a chance to utilize it in an art deco residence with easy access to the rooftop. It seems that these innovative tools might be limited to specific levels, however, they add versatility to our methods and make handling larger tasks more manageable.

Apart from the portable water jet you’re familiar with, a new floor power washer joins the scene. Compared to the jet, this floor cleaner covers a wider cleaning area, expanding your tool selection and simplifying your chores slightly.
One interesting point to note – and hang in there with me on this – is the community restroom. This serves as an illustration of PWS2’s sequential tasks, where you can proceed to subsequent stages only after completing the initial, clean-up phases.
In this scenario, the underground public restroom rises from the ground when needed, initially providing only the roof for access. After being cleaned, it ascends to ground level, enabling you to clean its exterior surfaces. Lastly, the door unlocks, permitting you to clean the interior to complete the process.
This method effectively divides complex tasks into more manageable parts, and while this particular task was rather small, it’s likely that this multi-step strategy will prove useful for tackling larger, more intricate projects in the future.
This time, we have a central point, or “hub,” that serves as a base where various tasks are displayed on a board for you to undertake. Regrettably, we didn’t delve too deeply into this aspect of the game, but having a unified space gives the experience a sense of coherence; the original version often felt fragmented due to its menu-based approach.
In essence, though the core gameplay remains similar to its predecessor, PWS2 enhances and builds upon the original game in numerous thoughtful ways, providing players with an improved overall experience. From our time spent with it, it appears that this sequel will deliver a follow-up that doesn’t aim to drastically change the formula, but instead polishes and refines a game that had already nailed many aspects right.
Hey there, fellow gaming enthusiast! Guess what’s splashing into our living rooms later this year? That’s right, PowerWash Simulator 2 on the mighty PS5!
