As a gaming enthusiast, let me tell you, I’ve been privileged to get a sneak peek at an extended gameplay demo of Pragmata, Capcom’s upcoming shooter. And lemme tell ya, it’s like Diana, that adorable android girl who rides shotgun on your back, just leveled up my gaming expectations. I mean, seriously, this game is giving me some next-level vibes! (A nod to the character D for those who get the joke… but if not, no worries, it’s still an amazing game!)
This game stands out as one of the most distinct third-person shooters we’ve encountered since playing Vanquish, and it’s definitely on par with, if not surpassing, Binary Domain.
You’re Hugh, a strong yet agile space traveler brought back to life by Diana. The mysterious AI baby, oddly without shoes, demonstrates hacking skills and combines intense shootouts with puzzle elements reminiscent of the game Pipe Mania. We strongly recommend you check out our earlier review for more details.

We can’t stress it enough – we absolutely adore this loop, and our affection hasn’t waned even after replaying the same demo multiple times.
What about the latest additions? We encountered a formidable foe – a giant mech reminiscent of those seen in shows like Gundam, straight out of the world of anime.
At this stage, having unlocked the Stasis Net – an orb that immobilizes foes – allowed us to carry out multiple hacking assaults against the mechanical beast. This weakened its defenses significantly, making it vulnerable to shotgun fire.
Midway through the fight, the game becomes more animated in style, with the enemy launching approximately 15 homing missiles skyward. In response, Hugh jumps onto the screen, referring to the enemy as a “devilish adversary”.
After making some additional tweaks and taking a few more attempts, we saw it burst into pieces. Terrific! We’re eagerly anticipating another chance to experience it.
As a dedicated gamer here, let me tell you, Pragmata is an absolute blast! While this extended playtime didn’t exactly unveil a treasure trove of new insights about the game, I can assure you that the loop hasn’t lost its charm yet. This game has already earned a special place in my gaming heart, and I can’t wait to dive into the full campaign!
