Prime Users Just Got All 15 Seasons of One of the Best Dark Fantasy Shows of the 21st Century

Prime Video is adding a lot of new shows and movies this December, including a highly-rated dark fantasy series. Over the past few weeks, Amazon’s streaming service has added titles like The Phoenician Scheme, A Minecraft Movie, and the second season of the popular show Fallout. This week, all 15 seasons of a critically acclaimed horror drama became available – and it’s also appearing on other streaming services.

As a huge fan, I’m thrilled to share that all 15 seasons of Supernatural – that’s 327 episodes! – are now available on Prime Video. It actually landed on both Prime and Peacock on December 22nd, after leaving Netflix earlier this month where it had been for 13 years. For those who haven’t seen it, the show, created by Eric Kripke, follows brothers Sam and Dean Winchester, played by Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles, as they drive across America in their classic ’67 Impala, hunting all sorts of supernatural creatures. It originally aired on The WB, then The CW, and ran from 2005 to 2020 – it’s a seriously addictive show!

Supernatural Is One of the Best Fantasy Shows Ever

Often considered one of the greatest fantasy shows of the 21st century, Supernatural stands out even within the genre thanks to its impressive 15-season run. The show built a rich and detailed world of angels, demons, and folklore, but at its heart was the powerful bond between brothers Sam and Dean. This focus on their relationship turned what could have been a typical monster-hunting show into a captivating drama about family. With memorable characters like Castiel and Crowley, Supernatural expertly mixed horror, humor, emotional moments, and thrilling adventures.

With 15 seasons, Supernatural consistently received high praise, averaging a 93% score on Rotten Tomatoes and achieving perfect 100% ratings for more than half of its seasons—including its second and final seasons. It’s the longest-running American live-action fantasy series, and a wildly enjoyable show to binge-watch, now available on Prime Video and Peacock. Plus, with a major Supernatural reunion planned for the final season of The Boys (created by the same producer, Eric Kripke, and featuring stars Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki, and Misha Collins), now is a great time to revisit the series.

What’s New on Prime Video?

Prime Video has had a fantastic December for new streaming content. The month started strong on December 1st with additions like Four Weddings and a Funeral, the 1978 classic Invasion of the Body Snatchers, several Madagascar films, and Zombieland. Throughout the month, Prime Video continued to add new titles, including Bullet Train and The Phoenician Scheme. Before December ends, even more content will be available, with Sinners arriving on December 26th, The Naked Gun on December 29th, and over a dozen more films debuting on December 30th.
