Prime Video showed off its exciting collection of shows for fans of all things geeky at New York Comic Con. They had something for everyone, from the tabletop game world of *Critical Role’s The Mighty Nein* to a sneak peek at season 4 of the popular comic book adaptation, *Invincible*. Plus, Batman fans got a treat with the first trailer for the new Batman series, which also revealed four classic DC villains.
The new trailer for Prime Video’s *BAT-FAM* is packed with classic Batman-style action, featuring villains like Killer Croc, Clayface, Mad Hatter, and Livewire. It quickly shifts to a funny look at Little Batman and Alfred (dressed as Robin!) causing chaos around Wayne Manor, suggesting that the show’s strength will be in the dynamic between this quirky family. We also see Little Batman and Claire joining forces for a superhero adventure, and while Claire isn’t thrilled with everything being called “Bat-something,” it’s clearly the theme of the show. You’re welcome to check out the full trailer below!
BAT-FAM Delivers a Very Different Batman Series (And That’s a Huge Win)
I really enjoyed Prime Video’s *Merry Little Batman* last year, and I’m excited to see them expanding that world with *BAT-FAM*. The whole crew is back for more adventures, and judging by the new trailer, Wayne Manor has gotten a serious makeover! It looks like things are going to be quite different inside those walls this time around.
BAT-FAM stands out from other Batman series by focusing on the complex relationships between Batman and his famous enemies. While villains still exist in Gotham, some have changed and now live with Bruce Wayne at Wayne Manor. They’ve become like family to Bruce and his son, Damian, with Ra’s al Ghul even affectionately nicknamed “Pap Pap” by Damian.
As a big Batman fan, I’ve seen a lot of takes on the character, so I was really excited to see something completely new with *BAT-FAM*. It’s full of fresh ideas, and the animation style is unlike anything I’ve seen before! Plus, the voice cast is amazing – Luke Wilson, Yonas Kibreab, James Cromwell, Haley Tau, London Hughes, Michael Benyaer, and Bobby Moynihan are all in it, with a bunch of other fun guest voices popping up too. Here’s what the show is all about, according to the official description.
BAT-FAM centers around Batman, his loyal butler Alfred, and his son Damian (nicknamed ‘Little Batman’) as they open their home to some unexpected guests. Joining them at Wayne Manor are Alfred’s energetic grandniece Alicia, a former villain named Claire trying to go straight, Damian’s grandfather Ra’s al Ghul (who also happens to be one of Batman’s oldest enemies), and Man-Bat, who moves into the manor’s bell tower. Plus, there’s Selina, the family cat! This unusual group tries to balance everyday life with their duties protecting Gotham City.
BAT-FAM hits Prime Video on November 10, 2025.
