Prince Andrew Removed From Home by King Charles After Giving Up Title

Prince Andrew has some royal changes ahead.

Following Prince Andrew’s recent decision to step down from his royal duties and titles—a move prompted by ongoing allegations concerning his ties to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein—King Charles III has announced further steps to distance his brother from the royal family.

Buckingham Palace announced today that Prince Andrew will no longer use his royal titles. He will now be known simply as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, according to a statement released on October 30th.

Besides dropping “Prince” from his title, Andrew will also need to leave his home at Royal Lodge. Reports from royal expert Chris Ship suggest he’ll be moving to Sandringham House in Norfolk.

He was legally allowed to stay at Royal Lodge thanks to his lease, but he has now been asked to leave and will be moving to a private home.

Despite Andrew’s continued denials of the accusations, the palace stated they feel these new criticisms are justified.

The King and Queen want everyone to know they deeply sympathize with, and continue to support, all those affected by abuse.

Andrew previously stated he strongly denied the accusations made against him, but acknowledged they were taking attention away from the King and the rest of the Royal Family.

Consequently, he announced he would give up his royal titles and honors. (His former wife, Sarah Ferguson, also lost her title as Duchess of York.)

When Prince Andrew was born to Queen Elizabeth II, he was given the title of “Prince,” and it was assumed he would keep it for life. But a recent announcement from the Palace confirms he will no longer be called “Prince.”

Prince Andrew, the younger brother of King Charles III, has announced he will no longer use the title Duke of York. This decision comes because of ongoing public concern about his relationship with the late Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted sex offender.

After talking with The King and my family, I’ve realized the ongoing accusations against me are taking attention away from the important work of His Majesty and the Royal Family,” Prince Andrew said in a statement. “As I’ve always done, I’m prioritizing my family and country. Therefore, I stand by my decision from five years ago to step back from public duties.”

Andrew stated that, with the King’s approval, he was taking things a step further by giving up his royal title and any honors he’d received. He reaffirmed that he strongly denied all accusations made against him.

I was really saddened to hear Harry share in his BBC interview on May 2nd that his dad, King Charles, isn’t speaking to him right now – apparently it’s all to do with security concerns. He did say, though, that he’s hoping they can work things out and rebuild their relationship, and honestly, that’s what I’m wishing for too.

Prince Harry expressed a desire to mend fences with his family, particularly his father, but indicated the decision to reconnect ultimately rests with the King.

He doesn’t foresee returning to the U.K. with his family anytime soon. He expressed sadness that his children won’t have the chance to experience his home country with him.

Harry explained that his father has significant influence and could potentially solve the situation. He suggested this wouldn’t require direct involvement, but rather allowing professionals to handle things without interference.

After years of fighting, he’s now seeking peace and a chance to make amends. He explained, “Life is short, and my father doesn’t have much time left.”

I was so upset to find out William, Kate, George, Charlotte, and Louis weren’t at the Easter service at Windsor this year! I always look forward to seeing them all together, and it just felt…off that they weren’t there. I’ve been checking all the royal news sites, trying to figure out why! It’s just not the same without them.

Okay, so she posted on Instagram, and honestly, it destroyed me. She said she’s been crying so much, like, a ridiculous amount. She described it as the kind of tears where you just stand under the shower, hoping the water will somehow wash away the pain, even though you know it won’t. But she finished by saying it’s okay to feel that way, and that just… hit different. It was so raw and real, and I just completely understood. It felt like she was speaking directly to me, you know?
