Prince George Poses in Royally Sweet Portrait for His 12th Birthday

Prince George is ringing in his latest birthday in a big way.

To celebrate the 12th birthday of their eldest son, Prince William and Kate Middleton revealed an impressive new painting of George, following a long-standing practice of documenting significant moments in their children’s lives.

On July 22nd, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge (also parents to Princess Charlotte, aged 10, and Prince Louis, aged 7) posted a picture on their Instagram. In this photo, taken by photographer Josh Sinner, we see Prince George standing with his arms folded on a fence. Accompanying the image, they wrote “Happy 12th Birthday to Prince George!

The year before last, George, who is the second in line to the British throne after his father, posed elegantly while grinning for the camera, dressed in a smart black suit jacket and a white collared shirt. He added a personal touch to this timeless outfit by wearing a braided friendship bracelet – possibly acquired during Taylor Swift’s concert in London several weeks earlier, as evidenced by a larger version of the photo that was shared on his parents’ Instagram Stories at the time.

Last month, as a lifestyle expert, I found myself reminiscing about the charming celebration of little Prince Louis’ birthday. Just like they did back in 2011 for their wedding, William and Kate chose to commemorate this special day with a fresh update showcasing our youngest royal charmer. To celebrate, the prince, whose adorable grin was now missing his two front teeth, donned a dark green sweater, plaid button down, and jeans, sitting casually on a stone amidst lush greenery and vibrant purple flowers. A truly heartwarming moment!

This year, photographer Josh captured Louis’ portrait, but it was Kate who demonstrated her ongoing passion for photography during her daughter’s birthday shoot in May. In a touching photo, Charlotte smiled brightly as she stood on a green field wearing a camouflage jacket with her hair pulled back in a ponytail.
