Though Hollow Knight: Silksong captivates an impressive crowd of over 300,000 players on Steam, another highly-acclaimed Metroidvania game, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, has reached a remarkable achievement. It has surpassed the three million player mark, which is higher than the “over” two million Ubisoft announced in May last year.
In January 2024, the game titled “Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown” was released, centering around a character named Sargon who journeys up Mount Qaf in pursuit of an essential figure. Initially, the number of players at launch was relatively low, with only about 300,000 individuals picking it up, and by October 2024, that number had risen to one million. It is said that the development team proposed a sequel, but it was turned down, and since then, they have shifted their focus to other projects.
Over 3 million beings known as Immortals have started an incredible journey up Mount Qaf. Your talent, whether it be a daring jump over deadly pitfalls or a well-timed parry, has truly made Sargon’s adventure feel real and exciting. Thank you for being a part of the Prince of Persia saga! 🤝
