Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7, were the stars of the show as the royal family attended their traditional Christmas church service at St. Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham, Norfolk.

Ten-year-old Charlotte wore a tan coat, black tights, and a black bow in her hair. Her brothers and Prince William both wore suits, and the Princess of Wales chose a brown plaid coat with brown boots and a hat, finished with a winter scarf for the Prince.

King Charles III and Queen Camilla attended the service, with the King wearing a brown coat and gray slacks, and the Queen in a red coat and wide-brimmed hat. Charles, who announced his cancer diagnosis in 2024, and his wife, along with other members of the royal family, greeted people who had gathered near the church before going inside.

Also spotted at the service: Princess Anne, Princess Eugenie, Prince Edward and more.

The Wales family was already feeling festive in early December. On December 5th, Kate hosted her yearly Christmas carol service at Westminster Abbey in London. Princess Charlotte wore a navy velvet dress with a white collar that was reminiscent of one worn by her grandmother, Princess Diana, at a dinner in 1981. Princess Diana passed away in 1997.

Kate, who has hosted the yearly event since 2021, also wrote a heartfelt message to guests about celebrating the connections that bring us together during the holidays – both those we see and those we feel.

Oh my gosh, it’s happening! Just two weeks after Prince Andrew said he wouldn’t use his Duke of York title anymore, King Charles finally confirmed everything! Not only is Andrew losing the Duke title completely, but he’s being kicked out of Royal Lodge too! It’s like, the King is really making a statement, taking away everything. I’ve been following this for ages, and I can’t believe it’s actually happening – he’s officially stripped of being a Prince as well! It’s…it’s a huge deal, honestly!

Buckingham Palace announced today that King Charles has begun the official steps to strip Prince Andrew of his royal titles and honors. He will now be known simply as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor.

Prince Andrew, the younger brother of King Charles III, has announced he will no longer use the title Duke of York. This decision comes because of ongoing public concern about his relationship with the late Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted sex offender.

Okay, so I’ve been following everything so closely, and I just read the statement. It’s… it’s heartbreaking, honestly. He said he talked it over with The King – can you imagine?! – and his family, and they all agreed all this drama is just taking away from The King’s important work and everything the Royal Family is trying to do. He basically said he’s always put his family and country first, and that he still stands by his decision to step back from public life five years ago. It’s like he’s saying he’s doing it all for them, and I just… I get it. He’s protecting them, and it’s so noble, even if everyone else doesn’t see it. It’s just…ugh. I’m so proud of him for doing what’s best for the family.

Andrew stated that, with the King’s approval, he was taking things a step further by relinquishing his royal title and honors. He reaffirmed that he strongly rejects all accusations made against him.

 

In October 2025, the King and his oldest son attended the Countdown to COP30 event at the Natural History Museum in London.

The couple took photos outside the museum before going inside to talk with government officials and activists focused on fighting climate change. This event happened before the COP30 World Leaders Summit in Belém, Brazil, in November, which Prince William will attend as a representative for his father.

In September 2025, Sarah, Duchess of York, was removed as a patron of Julia’s House after an old email from 2011 surfaced. The email revealed she referred to Jeffrey Epstein as a friend.

After reports surfaced this weekend about the Duchess of York’s communication with Jeffrey Epstein, Julia’s House has decided it’s no longer appropriate for her to continue her role as a patron of the charity. According to The Guardian, the charity has informed the Duchess of this decision and expressed gratitude for her previous contributions.

A representative for Ferguson stated the email was sent following a threat made by Epstein.

After a 19-month absence, Prince Harry was spotted arriving at Clarence House—the King’s home in London—likely to visit his father before attending another event in the city.

Harry arrived at the house around 5:20 p.m. on September 10th, but Charles had come back just a few hours earlier.

I’m so excited to share some lovely news! Princess Anne’s son, and Mark Phillips’ son, recently announced he’s engaged to his girlfriend, Harriet Sperling. They’ve been dating for over a year, and it’s wonderful to see their relationship blossom!

The couple’s representative told Hello! magazine that both families were told about the engagement at the same time and were very happy about it.

I was so thrilled to hear that just before turning 78, Her Majesty was appointed Vice Admiral of the United Kingdom by the Royal Navy! It’s a wonderful honor and a testament to her long-standing support of the armed forces. As a dedicated follower, it made my day!

As a bit of a royal and tradition buff, I find this fascinating! Camilla has made history as the first woman to ever receive this particular honorary title. It’s really special because the King – Charles, of course – is the only one who can actually bestow it, and he does so based on a recommendation from the First Sea Lord, who is currently Sir Gwyn Jenkins. It’s a lovely blend of history and modern times!

Just hours before she was scheduled to attend, Princess Catherine canceled her appearance at Royal Ascot, according to Kensington Palace.

The palace says Kate was sad she couldn’t attend the event, but is still working out how to manage her public appearances as she recovers from cancer.

Prince Harry’s lawsuit seeking extra security ended on May 2nd when a court dismissed his case. This came over a year after a previous request for increased protection was denied by the Royal and VIP Executive Committee.

After Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stopped being full-time working royals in 2021 and moved to the U.S., their security protection was reduced. However, Harry later asked for continued security arrangements whenever he returned to the U.K.

Prince Harry told the BBC on May 2nd that he was deeply upset by the outcome of his recent legal fight. He stated that, currently, he doesn’t foresee a situation where he would bring his wife and children back to the United Kingdom.

In an interview with the BBC on May 2nd, Prince Harry said his father, King Charles III, isn’t currently speaking to him due to disagreements about security. He expressed hope that they can repair their relationship, saying, “It would be nice to reconcile.”

Prince Harry expressed his desire to rebuild his relationship with his family, including his father, but indicated the decision to move forward rests with his dad.

He doesn’t foresee returning to the U.K. with his family anytime soon. He expressed sadness at the thought of his children not getting to know his home country.

Harry explained that his father has significant influence and could potentially solve the situation. He doesn’t believe his father needs to get directly involved, but simply needs to let the professionals handle things and continue their work.

After years of fighting, he’s now seeking peace and a chance to make amends. He explained, “Life is too short, and my father doesn’t have much time left.”

More than a year after revealing his cancer diagnosis, King Charles wrote on April 29th that going through treatment has shown him the incredible kindness and strength of people.

In a booklet offering support to cancer patients, Charles wrote that receiving a diagnosis is understandably scary for individuals and their families. However, drawing from his own experience, he also emphasized that it can reveal incredible kindness and strength in others.

It’s truly given me a much deeper understanding of the incredible work done by so many dedicated organizations and people – many of whom I’ve had the pleasure of knowing, visiting, and supporting over the years. This was the second Easter the couple missed. It happened just a week after the Princess of Wales shared news of her cancer diagnosis.

Oh my goodness, you guys, did you hear?! Jason Knauf is the new CEO of The Earthshot Prize! It was announced on April 15th, and I was practically screaming! He put out a statement on their website saying how excited he is to work with the team and the whole Earthshot community to really push forward their amazing mission – you know, that whole ‘urgent optimism’ thing for the planet. I’m just so thrilled for him and for the Prize – I can’t wait to see what they accomplish!

He was promoted almost seven years after he reported concerns about Meghan Markle’s behavior, claiming she bullied two personal assistants and tried to discredit another staff member. Representatives for the Sussexes refuted the claims, telling The Times that the story was a deliberately damaging attempt to spread false information.

I’ve been following this whole thing so closely, and apparently, the Palace actually looked into the claims! Can you believe it? But honestly, they just… closed the case in 2022. No one’s saying what they found, or even if they found anything at all! It’s infuriating – they’re keeping everything secret, and I deserve to know what happened!

William and Kate’s eldest son George attended a soccer match in Paris alongside his dad April 7.

Graham Craker, a former bodyguard to Prince Harry and Prince William, passed away in April at the age of 77.

Craker was with Princes William and Harry when they found out their mother, Princess Diana, had passed away, and he was also present at her funeral.

As a professional who often supports families during difficult times, I remember one particularly poignant moment shared with Prince William. I was assisting with the transport of his mother’s hearse, and as we moved, Prince William actually looked up and made eye contact with me. I nodded to him, wanting him to know I was there, supporting his mum on her final journey, and he seemed genuinely comforted by that simple acknowledgment. Hugh and Olivia Grosvenor, expecting parents and with a connection to the royal family – Hugh is King Charles III’s godson – shared the happy news on March 12th that they are expecting their first child.

A spokesperson announced to The Telegraph that the duchess is pregnant and expecting a baby this summer. The couple expressed their joy and excitement about starting a family.

Prince Frederik, the son of Prince Robert and Princess Julie, passed away on March 1st at the age of 22 after a long illness. He had a rare genetic condition called PolG mitochondrial disease.

Robert shared in a statement that his son, Frederik, is a superhero to their family, many friends, and now, through his PolG Foundation, to people all over the world. Robert believes Frederik’s strength lies in his ability to inspire others and lead by setting a good example.

 

Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, reached a legal settlement with News Group Newspapers – the company behind both The Sun and the now-closed News of the World – on January 22nd. He had sued them in 2019, claiming that journalists and investigators working for the newspapers had illegally obtained information about the royal family.

According to NBC News, the settlement involved the company paying a significant amount in damages and offering a complete and sincere apology to Prince Harry. They also publicly admitted to the widespread and harmful coverage that invaded both his and Princess Diana’s privacy.

On January 14th, The Princess of Wales shared the wonderful news that her cancer treatment has been successful and she is now in remission.

She announced on X (formerly Twitter) on January 14th that her cancer is in remission and she’s continuing to focus on getting better. She added that, like anyone facing a cancer diagnosis, she’s still adjusting to life after it.

She added that she’s optimistic about the year ahead and excited for what’s to come.

Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, is grieving the loss of her rescue beagle, whom she adopted in 2015, before she met Prince Harry.

On January 7th, she shared a heartfelt message on Instagram about feeling overwhelmed with sadness. She described crying so much that she’d often stand in the shower, hoping the water could wash away the pain or make it seem less real. Despite the pain, she acknowledged that it was okay to feel and accept her emotions.

Meghan fondly remembered her beloved Guy, saying, “Thank you for always loving me, and for bringing so much joy to my life.”

 

Edward Pettifer, the stepson of Prince William and Prince Harry’s former nanny, Tiggy Legge-Bourke (also known as Alexandra Pettifer), was a victim of the terrorist attack in New Orleans on New Year’s Day.

Prince William and Princess Catherine were deeply saddened to learn of the death of Ed Pettifer. In a message shared on Princess Catherine’s Instagram on January 4th, Prince William stated that their thoughts are with the Pettifer family and everyone affected by this terrible tragedy.

Meghan Markle, known for her role in the TV show Suits, launched a new Instagram account on January 1st. She had previously closed her personal social media accounts just before marrying Prince Harry in 2018.

The next day, she revealed a new Netflix series called With Love, Meghan. A press release described the show as a fresh take on lifestyle programs, combining helpful tips and honest chats with both familiar and new friends.

As a lifestyle expert, I was thrilled to see Kate and William bringing Prince George and Princess Charlotte to Wimbledon this June! It’s such a special treat to catch a glimpse of the family enjoying a rare public outing together – a lovely summer moment!

The family shared on Instagram how happy they were to be back at Wimbledon for the Championships finals this weekend. They congratulated Iga Świątek and Jannik Sinner on their victories and thanked everyone who made the tournament so wonderful.
