Princess Eugenie’s Outing After Prince Andrew’s Royal Title Stripped

Princess Eugenie is getting along.

Just a week after her father, Prince Andrew, gave up his royal title at the request of King Charles III, Princess Beatrice, age 35, was seen in public for the first time with her husband, Jack Brooksbank, in West London.

Princess Beatrice, 37, and her sister, the princess, are the daughters of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson. For this event, the princess kept it casual, wearing a black T-shirt, wide-leg jeans, and brown boots. Her husband dressed comfortably too, in jeans, a gray sweatshirt, and a stocking cap.

Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank, parents to four-year-old August and two-year-old Ernest, didn’t seem to notice people watching as they walked across a bustling London street. Eugenie appeared determined and focused on getting to the other side.

Princess Eugenie’s recent quiet appearance follows her father, now known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, voluntarily relinquishing his Duke of York title and other honors. This came after increased attention to his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein and allegations made by Virginia Giuffre in 2021.

The founder of Victims Refuse Silence, who tragically died by suicide in April, had previously claimed she was trafficked by Epstein and then sexually abused by Andrew when she was a teenager.

After settling a lawsuit with Virginia Giuffre in 2022, Andrew has consistently denied all accusations against him. He reaffirmed this when he stepped down from his royal duties, stating he strongly rejects the claims made against him.

Only a week after Andrew made his announcement, the king removed all of his remaining royal benefits.

Buckingham Palace announced that Prince Andrew’s lease on Royal Lodge, which previously allowed him to continue living there, has been terminated. He has been asked to move out and find a new private residence.

I was really struck by something Charles said in his statement. He acknowledged taking these steps, but also made it clear he still doesn’t believe the claims made against him – he said the measures were taken even though he continues to deny everything. It’s a complicated situation, but he wanted to be clear about both things.

King Charles and Queen Camilla have also offered their support to the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein, who died by suicide while in jail awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges.

The King and Queen want everyone to know that they deeply sympathize with, and continue to support, all those affected by any kind of abuse.

Even though Andrew has lost his royal titles, his daughters will retain theirs and will continue to be called “Her Royal Highness Princess.”

Following Prince Andrew’s decision to step down as Duke of York, King Charles III announced further changes: Prince Andrew will also lose his home at Royal Lodge and no longer be known as Prince.

Buckingham Palace announced today that King Charles has begun the official steps to strip Prince Andrew of his royal titles and honors. He will now be known simply as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor.

Prince Andrew, the younger brother of King Charles III, has announced he will stop using the title Duke of York. This decision comes after ongoing public concern about his relationship with the late Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted sex offender.

After talking with The King and my family, I’ve decided the ongoing accusations against me are taking attention away from the important work of His Majesty and the Royal Family,” Prince Andrew said in a statement. “Like I did five years ago, I’m prioritizing my family and country, and I stand by my decision to step back from public duties.

Andrew stated that, with the King’s approval, he was taking things a step further by relinquishing his royal title and any honors he’d received. He reiterated that he strongly denied all accusations made against him.

In October 2025, the King and his oldest son attended the Countdown to COP30 event held at the Natural History Museum in London.

I recently spotted Prince William and Kate Middleton outside a museum before they went inside for some really important meetings. They were connecting with government officials and activists, all focused on tackling climate change. This event was a prelude to the big COP30 World Leaders Summit happening in Belém, Brazil this November, and Prince William will be representing his father – and the UK – there. It’s fantastic to see them using their platform to champion such a critical cause!

In September 2025, Sarah, Duchess of York, stepped down as a patron of Julia’s House after an old email from 2011 surfaced. The email revealed she referred to Jeffrey Epstein as a friend.

After reports surfaced this weekend about the Duchess of York’s communication with Jeffrey Epstein, Julia’s House has decided it’s no longer appropriate for her to continue as their patron. The charity has informed the Duchess of this decision and expressed their gratitude for her previous contributions, according to The Guardian.

A representative for Ferguson stated the email was sent following a threat made by Epstein.

I was so happy to see reports that Prince Harry finally returned to see his father at Clarence House! It’s been almost 19 months since they’ve been together, and it sounds like he made a quick visit before continuing with his day in London. It really warmed my heart to hear they were able to connect.

Harry arrived at the house around 5:20 p.m. on September 10th, but Charles had come back just a few hours earlier.

Princess Anne’s son and his girlfriend, Harriet Sperling, announced their engagement on August 1st. They had been dating for over a year. He shares a father, Mark Phillips, with his ex-wife.

The couple’s spokesperson told Hello! magazine that both families were told about the engagement at the same time and were very happy about it.

Just a day before turning 78, the royal was made an honorary Vice Admiral by the United Kingdom’s Royal Navy.

Camilla is the first woman to receive this honorary title. It’s awarded only by the monarch—in this case, her husband, King Charles III—based on a recommendation from the First Sea Lord, currently Sir Gwyn Jenkins.

Just hours before she was scheduled to attend, Princess Catherine cancelled her appearance at Royal Ascot, Kensington Palace confirmed to NBC News.

The palace said Kate was sad to miss the event, but she’s still working out how to manage her public appearances as she recovers from cancer.

Prince Harry’s lawsuit seeking extra security ended on May 2nd when a court dismissed his case. This followed a decision over a year prior, where the High Court had already refused to grant him increased protection through the Royal and VIP Executive Committee.

After Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stopped being full-time working royals in 2021 and moved to the U.S., their security details were reduced. However, Harry continued to request security arrangements whenever he returned to the U.K. in the following years.

I was really saddened to hear Prince Harry talk about the legal fight and how it’s affected him. He seemed truly heartbroken, and honestly, he made it clear he doesn’t foresee a future where he’d bring Meghan and the kids back to the UK anytime soon. It’s just a really tough situation, and you can feel his pain.

In an interview with the BBC on May 2nd, Prince Harry said his father, King Charles III, isn’t currently speaking to him due to disagreements about security. However, he expressed hope that they can repair their relationship.

Prince Harry expressed a desire to mend his relationship with his family, particularly his father, but indicated the decision to move forward rests with his dad.

He doesn’t foresee returning to the U.K. with his family anytime soon. He expressed sadness at the thought of his children never getting to know his home country.

Harry explained that his father has significant influence and could potentially solve the situation. He suggested this wouldn’t require direct involvement, but rather allowing professionals to handle things without interference.

After years of fighting, he’s now seeking peace and a chance to make amends. He explained, “Life is too short, and my father doesn’t have much time left.”

More than a year after revealing his cancer diagnosis, King Charles wrote on April 29th that going through treatment has highlighted the kindness and strength he’s seen in people.

Oh my gosh, reading what Charles wrote just gets it. He said that every single diagnosis, every new person facing cancer, it’s terrifying for them and everyone who loves them, and honestly, he’s so right! But then, he said he knows, because he’s one of us, and that it can actually show you the incredible goodness in people. It’s like, even in the worst moments, you see the absolute best of humanity, and it’s just…everything. He understands, and it’s so comforting to know someone gets it.

He expressed gratitude to the healthcare workers who cared for him, and shared that the experience deepened his respect for the incredible work done by the organizations and people present, many of whom he’s known and supported for a long time.

Prince William, Kate Middleton, and their three children – Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis – were absent from the royal family’s traditional Easter service at St George’s Chapel in Windsor on April 20th.

King Charles III and Queen Camilla joined other royals in celebration, but Prince William and Kate chose to spend the weekend at their country home in Norfolk with their children, according to several news sources.

It was really tough missing them again this Easter – it’s the second one now. It felt especially poignant happening so soon after Kate shared her news about her cancer diagnosis. It just didn’t feel the same without them.

On April 15th, Jason Knauf was named the new Chief Executive Officer of Prince William’s environmental initiative, The Earthshot Prize. In a statement on the organization’s website, Knauf expressed his excitement about collaborating with the team and the Earthshot community to further their goal of finding optimistic solutions for the planet.

He was promoted almost seven years after he raised concerns about Meghan Markle’s behavior, claiming she bullied two personal assistants and tried to discredit another staff member. Representatives for the Sussexes refuted these claims, telling The Times that the story was a deliberate attempt to damage their reputation using false and harmful information.

Buckingham Palace looked into the claims, but the investigation concluded in 2022 with no public announcement of its findings.

William and Kate’s eldest son George attended a soccer match in Paris alongside his dad April 7.

A father and son were visibly happy while watching the UEFA Champions League Quarter Final match between Paris Saint-Germain and Aston Villa at Parc des Princes stadium.

Graham Craker, a former bodyguard to Prince Harry and Prince William, passed away in April at the age of 77.

Craker was with Princes William and Harry when they found out their mother, Princess Diana, had passed away, and he was present during the funeral.

As a professional who often deals with sensitive moments, I remember hearing from a former royal staffer, Craker, about a particularly poignant detail following the Queen Mother’s passing. He shared with The New York Post back in 2017 that he was positioned at the back of the hearse, and Prince William actually looked up and gave him a nod of acknowledgement. It was a small gesture, but Craker felt it clearly showed William was comforted knowing his mother wasn’t alone on her final journey – and that someone he trusted was there with her.

Hugh Grosvenor, the godson of King Charles III, and his wife, Olivia Grosvenor, shared the happy news on March 12th that they are expecting their first child.

Robert explained that Frederik’s strength lay in his ability to inspire others and lead by being a positive role model.

Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, reached a legal settlement with News Group Newspapers—the publisher of both The Sun and the now-closed News of the World—on January 22nd. He had sued the company in 2019, claiming that journalists and investigators working for its newspapers illegally obtained information about the royal family.

According to NBC News, the settlement involved the company paying a significant amount in damages and offering Harry a complete and sincere apology. They also publicly admitted to the widespread and harmful coverage that invaded both his and Princess Diana’s privacy.

On January 14th, The Princess of Wales shared the wonderful news that her cancer treatment has been successful and she is now in remission.

She shared on X (formerly Twitter) on January 14th that she’s relieved to be in remission and is continuing to focus on getting better. She noted that adjusting to life after a cancer diagnosis takes time, as anyone who’s been through it understands.

She added that she was excited about the year ahead and optimistic about what it holds.

Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, is grieving the loss of her rescue beagle, whom she adopted in 2015, before she met Prince Harry.

On January 7th, she shared a vulnerable post on Instagram about feeling overwhelmed with sadness. She described crying so much that she’d often try to wash away her tears in the shower, hoping to feel better, even though she knew it wouldn’t truly make the pain disappear. She acknowledged that it was okay to feel those emotions.

Meghan lovingly remembered her dog, Guy, saying, “Thank you for always loving me, my sweet boy. You brought so much joy to my life.”

Edward Pettifer, the stepson of Prince William and Prince Harry’s former nanny, Tiggy Legge-Bourke (also known as Alexandra Pettifer), was killed in the New Orleans terrorist attack on New Year’s Day.

Meghan Markle, known for her role on the TV show Suits, launched a new Instagram account on January 1st. She had previously closed her personal social media accounts just before marrying Prince Harry in 2018.

The next day, she revealed a new Netflix show called With Love, Meghan. A press release described it as a fresh take on lifestyle shows, combining helpful tips and honest chats with both familiar and new friends.
