Barbara Broccoli, the former James Bond producer, voices her opinions on Amazon’s choice of Denis Villeneuve as director for Bond 26. In an interview on the podcast “Kermode on Film,” Broccoli expressed enthusiasm about Villeneuve’s vision for 007. While she won’t be creatively involved with Villeneuve’s movie, Broccoli is instead focusing on other projects like a musical. This year, Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson handed over control of the James Bond franchise to Amazon as part of a new partnership.

Barbroccoli expressed her excitement about Villeneuve directing Bond 26, hinting at her upcoming ventures as she embarks on a fresh chapter in her career. Before he starts working on Bond 26, Villeneuve has other commitments as he will be focusing on Dune: Messiah, the third and final film in the Dune series.
