Professor T season 4 release date speculation: When will it air?
For fans eagerly awaiting the new season, it’s good news that US viewers can now mark their calendars! The exciting premiere will air on PBS starting from Sunday, 24th August, at 8pm Eastern Time. Although a UK release date isn’t confirmed yet, we hope that fans across the pond won’t have to wait too long.
In simpler terms, it appears that we’re keeping our fingers crossed for the arrival of season 4 on ITV in the UK towards the end of 2025, but as of now, an official announcement hasn’t been made yet.
With the U.S. air date finally upon us, it’s highly likely that the new episode will be released shortly. Stay tuned for further announcements.
Professor T season 4 cast: Who’s returning?
Alongside Miller as Professor Jasper Tempest, the following cast members are also returning:
- Barney White as DS Dan Winters
- Frances de la Tour as Adelaide Tempest
- Juliet Stevenson as Dr Helena Goldberg
- Sunetra Sarker as DI Maiya Goswami
But Emma Naomi is not returning after DS Lisa Donckers was struck by a car and killed.

The show will resume six months following the events of season 3, as Winter, Tempest, and the rest of the squad are still grappling with the loss of Donckers, now focusing on a surge of dangerous crimes, as reported by Variety.

The veil of caution has been lifted, and his lectures are brimming with passion and vigor. Moreover, he’s diving headfirst into a fresh, enthralling musical venture that promises to captivate us all!
In other places, love seems to be imminent for Adelaide as her professional and personal relationships overlap. For Helena, the boundaries between work and personal life start to get fuzzy. Winter takes on a significant role next to Maiya, acting as her right-hand man.
