Sony has finally unveiled the official moniker for Project Defiant, their forthcoming wireless arcade stick – FlexStrike. Set to debut in 2026 on both PS5 and PC platforms, a fresh trailer has been released to showcase its diverse capabilities. Take a look at it below.
The FlexStrike works with a PlayStation Link USB adapter on your PS5, allowing for compatibility with both the Pulse Elite headset and Pulse Explore earbuds. Simultaneously, you can connect up to two sets of FlexStrike controllers, as well as the DualSense controller to your PS5. Additionally, it offers a lever mode for players to customize or lock directional inputs, featuring a touchpad and input options similar to the DualSense.
The device also has a PlayStation button that can wake up your PS5 if it’s synced with the console. The FlexStrike will be exhibited at the Fight Stick Museum and Arc System Works booth during EVO 2025 from August 1st to 3rd, but it will only be on display – more information, such as its release date and price, will be shared in the coming months. Keep an eye out for further updates!
