It’s easy to get overwhelmed by the number of action games coming from Chinese and Korean developers, but Project Tal still stands out as something special.
The South Korean studio MADNGINE is working on a new action RPG for PC and consoles. The game, planned for release in 2027, will be a large-scale, single-player experience inspired by Korean mythology.
The trailer combines pre-rendered scenes with footage of the game as it’s still being developed. It features beautiful landscapes and close-up fighting against large, scary creatures.

This game isn’t like most action RPGs. Instead of just controlling a single character, you’ll fight with a team of smart companions who react to how you play and the situations you’re in.
What do you think of Project Tal so far? Do you see it becoming something significant in the next year? And please, keep the discussions civil – no need for dramatic or aggressive comments!
