This is the lowest price this game has ever been offered on the PS Store. While PS5 Pro owners won’t find any special enhancements for the game, that’s understandable since it was originally released in 2022, before the PS5 Pro was available.
PlayStation 5 owners can get the game Gotham Knights for only $7 on the PlayStation Store until February 26th. Developed by WB Games Montreal – the team behind 2013’s Batman: Arkham Origins – Gotham Knights launched in 2022 as a separate story from the Batman: Arkham series. It’s a standalone game and remains so four years later, but it was inspired by the Batman: Gotham Knights comic books.
Forgotten Batman Game
Though released not long ago, Gotham Knights is frequently overlooked in discussions about DC games, likely because it’s just okay. It received a Metacritic score of 67, which is similar to its 3.21 out of 5 star rating on the PlayStation Store. However, at a price of only $7, it’s a worthwhile purchase. Spending $70 on the Batman game isn’t recommended, but $7 for Gotham Knights offers good value.
While not a top-tier title, Gotham Knights is a decent game, scoring in the 70s on Metacritic. It unfortunately suffered from comparisons to the highly-regarded Batman: Arkham series, which set a very high bar for superhero games. These comparisons likely impacted how the game was received. In our review, we described Gotham Knights as a superhero experience that’s flawed but still enjoyable.
At just $7, this game is a fantastic deal, especially considering it usually costs $70. It’s the lowest price it’s ever been on the PlayStation Store, and Warner Bros. Games rarely offers discounts this big, so it’s unlikely to get any cheaper. You can expect to spend between 15 and 30 hours playing, or even up to 50 hours if you try to complete everything.
