If you had fun creating vehicles to overcome challenges in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you’ll likely enjoy the open-world game Where Winds Meet on PS5.
The game, released worldwide last month, is receiving a major update in China that lets players create basic vehicles like cars, boats, and planes.
The game lets you build things much like in the popular Nintendo series – you put different parts together to create your own machines. For instance, combining a wooden board, four wheels, and an engine makes a simple car. You can then add steering for better control.
Players will be able to save their creations and share them with others. A helicopter design called the Flying Chicken will be used as a tutorial and given to all players at no cost.
Just a heads-up: Where Winds Meet has been out in China for over a year. Because of this, the servers most of you are playing on are quite a bit behind in updates. So, it will likely be a while before this new feature is available worldwide.
Everstone Studios has plenty of time to thoroughly test and improve the feature, so we can expect a well-refined system when it’s released internationally.
Just so you know, Where Winds Meet is coming to mobile devices on December 12th and will support crossplay with all other platforms. You can download it now on both iOS and Android.
The recent wuxia event has been a huge hit, drawing in nine million players across all platforms in just two weeks.
