Now that Capcom has clearly defined what makes Pragmata different from many other third-person shooters released in the last twenty years, they are starting to share more details about the game.
The newest trailer from the publisher’s online event highlights how the two main characters, Hugh and Diane, can use a safe haven called the Shelter to create and improve their equipment.
The trailer showcases various “chips” that can be added to Diane’s hacking system. Connecting these chips in a specific order unlocks extra advantages, like the ability to break through enemy defenses and even perform multiple hacks at once.

The press release teases an additional little tidbit in relation to the pair’s adventure:
When they’re not fighting, Hugh and Diana will have a chance to explore the lunar station. They can use the Tram, starting from the Shelter, to quickly travel to any Escape Hatches they’ve already found. These hatches are also important as safe points to return to during their trip back to Earth.
We’re starting to understand how the game is organized, with the Shelter as its central focus. It’s going to be interesting to see how the game develops throughout the campaign, as it currently feels like we’ve only seen a small part of what it has to offer.
