SUCCESS Corporation and Red Art Games, along with developer Red Art Studios, have revealed that a sequel to the shoot ’em up game, *Psyvariar 3*, is in development for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. The game doesn’t have a release date yet.
Here is an overview of the game, via SUCCESS Corporation:
Psyvariar Celebrates its 25th Anniversary
After City Connection released *Psyvariar Delta* in August 2018, *Psyvariar 3* is the first completely new main installment in the series in over two decades.
The Series’ Trademark BUZZ System Returns
In Psyvariar 3, the popular BUZZ System makes a comeback. This system lets you level up your ship by skillfully dodging enemy bullets – a mechanic that was a huge hit in classic arcade shooters. This new version takes the fast-paced, intense bullet-hell action to the next level.
New Original and Guest Characters
The game features both brand new characters like Naomi and G.Net, as well as returning favorites from other games, bringing the total number of playable characters to seven. Each character controls a different ship with unique weapons and bombs, creating a strategic and visually exciting shooting experience.
Developed by Red Art Games
Red Art Games, a studio based in France, created *Psyvariar 3*, a fast-paced and exciting shooting game now available to players globally.
