Rachel Lindsay Calls Out Ex Bryan Abasolo Over Fertility Claims

Rachel Lindsay found herself constantly surprised by ex Bryan Abasolo

When the former Bachelor couple officially divorced in 2025, after filing in January 2024, the Bachelorette star was shocked by what her ex-husband, Bryan, shared publicly – specifically, his statements about their struggles to have children.

Rachel recently revealed on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast that a previous conversation about her wanting children wasn’t entirely accurate. She explained that while she did mention wanting kids, she hadn’t discussed the topic in detail with anyone before.

The 40-year-old added, “Nobody knows the story with that. I just was like, ‘That’s low.’”

During a 2024 interview discussing their divorce, Bryan made some statements that Rachel immediately found suspicious.

She remembered that the release was poorly timed. It had been promoted as a three-part series, and it came just a week after he’d been granted $13,000 in temporary support, which seemed odd. She wondered why he would release this video so soon after receiving that money.

Rachel said she kept telling herself not to be shocked by anything else, but something unexpected would always happen. She felt like the entire year of 2024 was full of surprises that constantly caught her off guard.

She admitted the situation made her wonder who this person really was. She believes he must have been secretly harboring feelings for her, because she couldn’t understand any other reason for his behavior.

As a lifestyle expert, I’ve seen firsthand how deeply challenging fertility struggles can be for a couple. In a recent interview, Bryan opened up about how he and Rachel faced difficulties in their marriage that were, at least in part, connected to their journey with trying to conceive.

I always wanted to be a parent, like many people do, but other commitments took precedence, and that created a lot of strain on our relationship,” the 46-year-old explained to divorce coach Rene Garcia. “Because of the natural differences in how women and men age, I felt I’d be expected to follow a timeline that wasn’t right for me, and I was already dealing with a huge amount of stress.”

Bryan admitted it was a really difficult experience. Seeing her upset was incredibly painful, and he felt like he was letting everyone down.

TopMob News has reached out to Bryan for comment but hasn’t heard back.

Rachel, who used to be a lawyer, recently said she feels relieved and liberated now that she’s finished making support payments to her ex-husband.

She said on the Pop Syllabus podcast in February that she regretted not having a prenuptial agreement, explaining, “He took so much from me.”

“He was ruthless about it,” she continued, “there was no compromising.”

Looking back, I think a lot of us can relate to what Rachel did. She married Bryan in 2019 after meeting on The Bachelorette, and she’s admitted she felt rushed into things. It wasn’t about what they wanted, but more about feeling like she needed to meet those societal expectations to settle down. It’s so common to feel that pressure, and it’s brave of her to acknowledge it.

She explained that a lot of factors came together, leading her to go through with the marriage, despite recognizing potential problems beforehand.

Status: Dating

Before The Golden Bachelor even began, Mel Owen faced some criticism. He appeared on the MGoBlue Podcasts With Jon Jansen and stated he wouldn’t consider women over 60, and preferred they didn’t have artificial hips or wigs.

Although his longtime partner, Peg Munson, is also in her sixties, their relationship is full of energy and excitement. The former NFL player described her to Glamour as being incredibly high-spirited.

You know, when my client wrapped up his final game last November, it was a really sweet moment. He didn’t participate in the pre-game protest, but he did propose with a stunning Neil Lane ring! He told me it symbolized their dedication to each other and a promise to build their future together, taking things one step at a time. It was less about a definitive ‘forever’ and more about committing to the journey of figuring things out together, which I thought was beautifully honest.

Status: Engaged

Spencer Conley, who made a good impression on Jenn Tran with his friendly personality during The Bachelorette, found romance on season 10 of Bachelor in Paradise. He shared a post with Jess Edwards (who previously tried to connect with Joey Graziadei on The Bachelor) hinting they were falling for each other—a typical way of saying they weren’t quite ready to say ‘I love you’ yet. In August 2025, Spencer posted on Instagram that he felt like he’d already found his person.

Jess echoed the sentiment, posting on social media, “Just really happy about this guy and everything!”

They were thrilled to choose each other over the $250,000 prize, and their happiness continued when they got engaged and received an unexpected check for $190,000.

“Everything that we’ve been through,” Jess said, “has led us to this exact moment.”

Their relationship eventually brought Jess to Dallas. She shared during the November 2025 After the Finale Rose special that she would be moving to Texas within a few weeks.

Status: Dating

Bailey Taylor Brown shared on Instagram in August 2025 that her date with Jeremy Simon was the best first date she’d ever had, following their time on season 10 of Paradise. However, it might also be their last. Bailey, who originally competed for Grant Ellis’ affection, and Jeremy, who almost won the heart of Jenn on The Bachelorette, recently overcame their biggest fight yet when Bailey discovered Jeremy had hesitated about letting Susie Evans go.

Their romance continued to blossom while they were in Costa Rica. Even though they didn’t make it to the end of Bachelor in Paradise, they decided to keep dating after the show. They’ve already met each other’s families and are making plans to live in the same city.

In a September 2025 Instagram post, Bailey expressed how fortunate she felt to have met her partner and shared her excitement for the future.

Status: Dating

It appears that Andrew Spencer, who competed on Katie Thurston’s season of Paradise, and Alexe Godin from Grant’s season are still very close. Just six days after Andrew publicly called Alexe his “mon amour” (my love) on Instagram in August 2025, she responded by calling him “mon chéri” (my dear) in a post of her own.

Even though they picked love instead of the $250,000 prize on the Bachelor in Paradise finale, they still received $125,000 as a parting gift.

“This is incredible,” Alexe exclaimed. “I’m leaving with money, but more importantly, I’m leaving with love.”

The show will follow Alexe and Andrew as they start a new chapter together in Chicago, with Alexe planning a move to be with Andrew in the city.

In September 2025, she shared on Instagram that she’d found someone who matched her quirky personality, and she was excited to build a life together with them.

Status: Split

During the “Bachelor in Paradise” finale, things got tense for Kat Izzo and Dale Moss when Sean McLaughlin claimed Kat had hidden a laptop and was secretly writing letters to an ex-boyfriend. Kat, who works as a nurse practitioner, strongly denied having any contact with him while on the show.

She asked if they were still together before this happened. He replied that they were, explaining he hadn’t expected to meet anyone new.

Even though Kat and Dale didn’t make it to the final test on Paradise, they continued dating. The show revealed that the two – Kat, who was on Zach Shallcross’ season, and Dale, who was on Clare Crawley’s – traveled the U.S. together and are planning a future together, including moving closer to each other.

Dale wrote under Kat’s August 2025 Instagram post that things were difficult at times, but they got through it together, and he wouldn’t trade the experience for anything.

But their journey came to a close in early 2026.

Kat mentioned on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast in January that he wasn’t willing to move from New York City.

She said he didn’t see a future for his career in San Diego. She admitted she never got a clear explanation from him and wasn’t sure what his real reasons were.

Status: Just friends—for now

After leaving season 10 of Bachelor in Paradise, Gary Levingston and Leslie Fhima (who was a finalist on Golden Bachelor) seemed to have a promising future together, even sharing a video about making new memories. However, Leslie, who once inspired musician Prince, isn’t certain she wants to pursue a romantic relationship with Gary.

Oh my gosh, you guys, I heard her say it herself on Bachelor Happy Hour! She and Gary talk all the time! She actually said he’s one of her best friends, like, seriously! She calls him whenever she’s having a hard time, and he just… calms her down. It’s so sweet! They’re always there for each other, always have each other’s backs. I knew it! They’re just meant to be, I can feel it!

Even though they live far apart – she’s in Minnesota and he’s in California – she’s still optimistic about things. She explained that, for her, the most important part of any relationship, especially a romantic one, is building a friendship first. She wants to be with someone she considers her best friend as they get older.

Status: Just friends

Kim Buike, who was a frontrunner on Golden Bachelorette, has found love with Faith Martin, the recipient of Gerry Turner’s first impression rose. Despite being eliminated on season 10 of Paradise, the pair are still together. In August 2025, Faith shared a video on Instagram showing Kim enjoying a date with her in Washington state.

In the end, they realized they were better suited as friends than as a couple.

Faith shared in a September 2025 Instagram video that she and this person talk about two or three times a week, even though he lives five and a half hours away. She clarified they’re not in a romantic relationship and never were; they simply had a strong connection while filming the show.

Grant initially connected with 25 women on The Bachelor, but ultimately chose Juliana Pasquarosa. Unfortunately, the couple broke up less than three months after their proposal was shown on television.

Grant announced on Instagram on June 13th that he and Juliana have decided to break up. He explained that they both tried their best and cared deeply for each other, but after careful consideration, they realized they weren’t compatible in the long run.

Joan Vassos, who was a contestant on The Golden Bachelor and later became the first Golden Bachelorette, is engaged! She met her fiancé, Chock Chapple, while handing out roses on the inaugural season of The Golden Bachelorette.

During the November 2024 finale of The Golden Bachelorette, Joan shared a message of hope, saying, ‘We’re proof that it’s never too late.’ Just before Chock proposed in Bora Bora, she told him, ‘I’ve waited for this moment, in this beautiful place, to tell you that I love you. I want to spend my life with you—waking up with you every morning and kissing you goodnight.’

Even though they’re currently in a long-distance relationship, they’re gradually starting to plan their future together.

Joan explained in a February 2026 Instagram Q&A that they’re planning their wedding for 2027 because their children are also starting to plan their own weddings. She said they want to avoid having their wedding at the same time as their kids’ weddings.

During the finale of The Bachelorette season 21, it seemed like Jenn Tran, who previously appeared on The Bachelor, had found love with her final choice, Devin Strader. However, Jenn shared during the After the Final Rose episode in September 2024 that Devin became distant as soon as filming ended.

Honestly, it was so confusing. He was telling me he was completely in love with me, making all these big declarations, and then the very next day it was like I meant nothing to him. He completely denied ever having those feelings! It was heartbreaking because all the promises he’d made, all the love he said he wanted to share with me, just vanished. I told Jesse Palmer about it on the show, and it still feels crazy to think about.

The situation escalated when Devin posted a 13-minute video on Instagram explaining his perspective. In the video, he took responsibility for his actions and detailed the reasons behind their breakup, which he’d initially shared during a 15-minute phone call.

Jenn said he ended their relationship during a phone call in August, but he insists she pressed him about what was happening while he was trying to tell her in person.

He said he hadn’t seen another option, especially since he’d been hoping to tell her face-to-face. Ultimately, she made him reveal it.

Jenn then met Sasha Farber on the set of Dancing With the Stars, and the two began dating. They continued to dance together even after being eliminated from the show in October 2024, but eventually broke up in 2025.

Greg Grippo, who appeared on Katie Thurston’s season of The Bachelorette, began dating Victoria Fuller from Bachelor in Paradise in November 2022. They announced their relationship on the season eight finale of Bachelor in Paradise, but Greg revealed in April 2024 that they had broken up.

Before Victoria Fuller and Greg Grippo revealed they were dating after the eighth season finale of Bachelor in Paradise, Victoria had ended her engagement with fellow cast member Johnny DePhillipo.

Gerry Nist and Theresa Nist got engaged in November 2023 at the end of the first season of The Golden Bachelor. They then got married in a televised ceremony in January 2024. They are now divorced.

However, three months after their nuptials, the couple announced that they were breaking up.

Gerry and Theresa have been having open and honest conversations about their relationship and future, as they shared on Good Morning America in April 2024. They’ve jointly decided to get a divorce.

They reached a divorce settlement in June 2024, according to court records reviewed by TopMob News.

In April 2025, Gerry shared on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast that he’s seeing someone and things are progressing nicely.

Tennis star Joey has found love! After dating 32 women, he proposed to project manager Kelsey Anderson during the March 2024 season finale. He told Kelsey, “I can’t wait another minute to tell you that I love you,” and shared that her positive energy made him incredibly happy—something he’d never felt before. Joey also expressed that meeting Kelsey showed him how wonderful life could be, and he’s excited to build a future with her.

John Henry Spurlock, who competed for Charity Lawson’s affection, and Kat Izzo, a contestant from Zach Shallcross’ season, found a connection on Bachelor in Paradise, but their romance didn’t last. Though they didn’t hit it off right away, John Henry proposed with a Neil Lane diamond, telling Kat she was everything he was looking for. However, shortly after the show’s finale, they announced their split via Instagram, explaining that their differing career goals made a long-term relationship impossible. They expressed gratitude for the support they received from family, friends, and fans of The Bachelor franchise.

Eliza Isichei, who previously dated Clayton Echard, is engaged! Despite being hesitant about finding love again after her time on Paradise, she happily said yes to Aaron Bryant’s proposal by the ocean. She was especially touched that Aaron asked her mother for her blessing, admitting she was so emotional she couldn’t control what she said.

However, the couple later announced their split. They revealed in December 2023 that while they had some difficulties after returning from Mexico, they are ending their engagement with positivity and respect for each other.

Despite previously expressing disappointment that her boyfriend, Aven Jones, hadn’t proposed in the traditional way – something he had apparently been prepared to do on The Bachelorette with Rachel Recchia – Kylee Russell accepted his proposal to try and make their relationship work after Paradise. Although she had already picked out an engagement dress, she felt it was the right decision, believing love requires taking chances. However, just two days after the show aired in December 2023, Kylee announced on social media that the relationship had ended due to Aven’s infidelity. Aven later apologized, admitting he had made serious mistakes and hurt Kylee.

Charity Lawson is thrilled with how her season of The Bachelorette ended! She hinted to TopMob News that things were going well, but that was an understatement of the romantic finale. Dotun Olubeko, an integrative medicine specialist, proposed to Charity, a child and family therapist, getting down on one knee and asking her to make their “perfect” love story a reality.

While they’re planning a wedding—possibly in 2025 or 2026—Charity will first be hitting the dance floor on Dancing With the Stars. Dotun surprised her with the news on The Bachelorette: After the Final Rose, excitedly telling her he knew how much she loved to dance and that he was thrilled she’d be joining the show.

Zach Shallcross proposed to Kaity Biggar at the end of season 27 in March 2023, despite some difficulties during the Fantasy Suites. He told Kaity, a travel nurse, that she was his world and he was deeply in love with her. In July 2023, the couple, who are based in Texas, announced they had moved in together on Instagram.

Kaity and her partner got married on May 23, 2025, in a small, intimate chapel ceremony. Originally, they had envisioned a bigger wedding, but Kaity realized it wasn’t necessary. As she shared on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast in June 2025, she felt the most important thing was to focus on their love for each other, and she’d gotten too caught up in the minor details.

However, one thing especially impressed her. The aunt who encouraged her to compete for Zach’s affection discovered the beautiful chapel near Austin where they had their wedding. Kaity explained, “It was exactly what we wanted.”

Danielle Maltby and Michael Allio, who seemed like a promising couple after meeting on Bachelor in Paradise, have broken up. Despite a strong connection – Danielle had previously experienced loss through her fiancé’s passing, and Michael is a single dad to his son James – the couple split a year after Danielle moved to Ohio to be with Michael. Michael explained on a podcast that while they cared for each other, they weren’t ultimately compatible, and he’s grieving the loss of the future they had planned together.

Brandon Jones proposed to Serene Russell on season seven of Paradise, telling her he would love her forever. Sadly, their relationship didn’t last. Just five months after getting engaged on the show, the couple announced their split in May 2023. They shared on Instagram that they had tried to work through their issues privately, but it had been difficult with so much public attention. They emphasized that they still cared deeply for each other and asked for privacy and kindness during this difficult time.

Pilot Rachel and her fiancé, Tino Franco, broke up after he kissed someone else while their season of the show was still airing in 2022. Tino later admitted on the podcast The Viall Files that he deeply regrets his actions. He said he feels terrible about hurting Rachel and is still ashamed of what happened, wishing he could have handled things differently.

Susie Evans and Clayton Echard’s relationship, which began on the 2022 season of The Bachelor, had a complicated journey. After Susie initially turned Clayton down during the finale, they briefly reconnected off-camera, but ultimately broke up six months later. Susie explained in a November 2022 blog post that while they shared happy times, she wasn’t truly thriving and felt out of sync with who she wanted to be, making the split necessary.

Susie then began dating Justin Glaze, who is known from The Bachelor franchise, but they ended their relationship in August 2024.

As a lifestyle expert, I’ve seen many relationships blossom – and sometimes, unfortunately, fizzle. One such story is Michelle’s journey. She initially found love with Nayte Olukoya on a popular dating show, even receiving a lovely Neil Lane ring and a $200,000 check towards their future! Sadly, after about six months, they realized they weren’t quite the right match. Nayte later admitted that ending things over the phone wasn’t the best approach. Thankfully, Michelle found lasting love with Jack Leius. They got engaged in 2023 and had a beautiful wedding in Minnesota in June 2025 – proving that sometimes, it takes time to find ‘the one’!

Fans were really hoping to see Maurissa Gunn and Riley Christian build a future together, picturing cozy Sunday mornings as a couple. However, the Bachelor in Paradise season seven pair only lasted a few months. In a joint statement released in January 2022, Maurissa (who previously dated Peter Weber) and Riley (a contestant on Tayshia Adams’ season) announced they were breaking up. They explained that they both needed to focus on personal growth and hadn’t anticipated this outcome.

Status: Split

The first same-sex couple from Bachelor in Paradise got engaged during season six, but they broke up and announced their split on Halloween in 2019.

We’ve always cared deeply for each other, and making the best decision for both of us has always been our top priority. With a lot of love and sadness, we’ve decided to separate so we can both focus on growing as individuals. We believe this is the best path forward for our long-term happiness.

As a lifestyle expert, I’m always thrilled to see love stories blossom, and Noah Erb and Abigail Heringer’s is definitely one for the books! They definitely hit a rough patch during season seven of BIP in Mexico, but they realized they had something truly special. They started out in San Diego, but recently made a big move! Abigail shared that they’ve purchased their first home together in Noah’s hometown of Tulsa – she’s even joking they’re about to enter their ‘Chip and Joanna Gaines era’! And the exciting news doesn’t stop there – Noah proposed in San Diego just before the move! It’s clear they’re ready to start their next chapter, filled with memories and, of course, wedding planning!

Serena Pitt and Joe Amabile, who first gained attention on The Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise, surprised everyone by getting legally married at City Hall in New York City in October 2022. They were already engaged after leaving Paradise and were planning a larger wedding for September 2023. Serena joked that there’s no harm in having two weddings, and she and Joe are still looking forward to their official ceremony. Serena currently co-hosts the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast with her husband, Joe.

As a lifestyle expert, I always love seeing genuine connections blossom! Remember Mari and Kenny from Paradise? Well, Kenny completely swept Mari off her feet – he actually told her he couldn’t imagine life without her when he proposed with a stunning Neil Lane diamond! Mari, who first captured our hearts on The Bachelor, traded the Maryland scenery for life in Chicago with Kenny. They solidified their bond with matching tattoos during a romantic trip to the Bahamas, and in November 2023, they said ‘I do’ in a beautiful oceanfront ceremony in Puerto Rico with 65 of their closest friends and family. It’s just so heartwarming to see a couple build their ‘forever’ together!

Status: Married

Becca Kufrin, who starred on The Bachelorette, and Thomas Jacobs, a former contestant on Katie Thurston’s season, found love on season seven of Bachelor in Paradise in 2021. They initially broke up during filming but got back together afterward. In May 2022, they announced their engagement, revealing that Becca was the one who proposed. She told TopMob News she hoped their decision would encourage others to feel comfortable breaking with tradition. Thomas returned the gesture by proposing to her in October of the same year. In September 2023, they welcomed their son, Benson, with Becca sharing on Instagram that no words could express how much love they felt for him. Just weeks after Benson’s birth, the couple had a surprise wedding ceremony on October 13th.
