Real Housewives of Rhode Island Trailer Teases Drama, Affairs & More

The smallest state is ready to prove it is home to some of the biggest drama. 

The first trailer for The Real Housewives of Rhode Island gives viewers a preview of the new Bravo show, which will debut on April 2nd.

In a preview for the upcoming show, cast member Rosie DiMare jokingly described Rhode Island as a place where people aren’t honest with each other, often saying one thing to someone’s face and then talking negatively about them behind their back. Despite this, she added with enthusiasm, “I love it here!”

Also joining the cast are Ashley Iaconetti, known from The Bachelor, and Liz McGraw, a close friend of Dolores Catania from The Real Housewives of New Jersey. And yes, Dolores Catania will also be part of the new Housewives season!

The cast also includes Alicia Carmody, a Rhode Island pizzeria owner, along with financial planner Rulla Nehme Pontarelli, former Miss Rhode Island Kelsey Swanson, and Jo-Ellen Tiberi, who’s known around town for being a bit of a gossip.

The trailer opens with immediate drama: Jo-Ellen bluntly tells Rulla that her husband is currently having an affair.

Rulla insists her husband hasn’t cheated. She told the group that another woman has been actively trying to make it look like he’s involved, or was involved, in an affair, but she doesn’t believe it’s true.

Honestly, living in Rhode Island, you get used to drama, but this was next level. It came up during one of our get-togethers – Kelsey just casually dropped that Jo-Ellen apparently slept with my ex… on a boat! Can you believe it? Jo-Ellen didn’t even really deny it, she just corrected Kelsey, saying it actually happened on land. It was so awkward, but classic Jo-Ellen, really.

The conflict between Jo-Ellen and Kelsey escalated, with Jo-Ellen threatening Kelsey, saying if she interfered with her husband, children, or career, she would destroy her life.

The conflict continues when Rosie angrily confronts Kelsey about admitting she was dating two people at once. The conversation quickly escalates, with Rosie shouting at Kelsey, “What have I ever done to deserve this? You’re nobody!”

She continued to angrily demand Kelsey leave, forcefully pointing towards the door and telling her to get out.

I’m completely hooked on the new season! It’s amazing watching Boxer and Jack compete for Belle’s attention, and things get really intense when Fagin gets Dodger involved in a super risky heist. Plus, there’s a dangerous killer lurking around! Honestly, this season is packed with everything I love – new faces, exciting locations, and more twists, laughs, emotional moments, clever ideas, and sneaky schemes than ever before. It’s absolutely explosive!
