You can now download a free demo of Tarsier Studios’ upcoming game, *Reanimal*, on PC as part of Steam Next Fest. A new, short trailer offering a glimpse of the game’s spooky atmosphere is also available.
As a huge fan, I was so excited to see more of the story! Tarsier recently showed off the first five minutes, explaining how The Boy and The Girl even met before they wound up on that mysterious island with the old Mill. We got to see them exploring and trying to avoid these really creepy, snake-like creatures, and thankfully, they eventually found their friend, Hood!
Exploring the Trainyard, players will encounter the Sniffer, a frightening creature with a top hat. You can’t fight the Sniffer – your only choice is to run, making the experience even more intense. Luckily, the game supports cooperative play, letting you share the scares with friends. Early reactions have been very positive, with some even saying it’s better than the upcoming *Little Nightmares 3*, which is being developed by Supermassive Games, not the original creators, Tarsier.
Reanimal will be released on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC in early 2026. We’ll share more information soon, so keep an eye out for updates!
