Tarsier Studios’ upcoming game, titled “Reanimal,” offers a sense of familiarity for fans of “Little Nightmares,” yet explores fresh angles and realms to intensify the suspense. Recently, IGN has shared approximately 13 minutes of new gameplay from the game, providing a glimpse into its opening scenes. You can watch it below for more information.
The story starts as a brother and sister, our main characters, reach a mysterious island by boat. It has an old train yard abandoned long ago. Upon meeting up with one of their three friends they’re trying to rescue, they start tampering with switches and make a quick exit while evading creepy figures that resemble snakes and can stretch out like them. Additionally, a menacing figure wearing a hat pursues them relentlessly. This figure breaks through doors as it moves forward.
1) The outcome of them managing to escape is purely speculative. While one can play solo with AI taking over the other character, Reanimal offers online cooperation as well. However, it’s unfortunate that there isn’t an option for split-screen, meaning both characters must stay within the same screen at all times.
As an enthusiastic follower, I’m thrilled to share that Reanimal is set to debut in the first quarter of 2026 on platforms like Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2! To get a closer look at its exciting co-op features, be sure to check out this gameplay video. Enjoy the ride!
