Regular Show Has a Surprise For Fans Before This Year’s Comeback

Cartoon Network surprised everyone in 2024 by announcing a revival of one of its most popular original animated series. The follow-up to Regular Show, currently titled Regular Show: Lost Tapes, is expected to premiere sometime this year, though a specific date hasn’t been announced. Before the return of Mordecai, Rigby, and the rest of the park crew, YouTooz will be releasing collectible figures of three of the show’s main characters.

Fans of Regular Show will soon be able to pre-order collectible figures of Mordecai, Rigby, and Skips from YouTooz. While Mordecai and Rigby were similar characters, Skips was quite different. Voiced by Mark Hamill of Star Wars fame, Skips was an immortal, albino ape who often hinted at a deep understanding of the universe and the supernatural – far more than anyone else on the show. Despite their contrasting personalities, all three characters will be available as statues and shipped this summer, likely in June or July.

Mordecai, Rigby, and Skips Reunite

See the first look at the new merchandise, including details about each collectible figure, below. Currently, these are the only Regular Show characters confirmed to be made into YouTooz figures.

Skips has lived a long life and seen a lot, but even he’s never seen anything quite like this! Now available as a Youtooz figure, Skips is ready to inspire your workouts. Standing 4.1 inches tall, he’s captured mid-bicep curl, looking either intensely focused or slightly annoyed. His white fur sticks out from his chin and covers his impressively muscular arms, while his strong chest is exposed, as he only wears a pair of purple jeans.

If Moredcai falls asleep, you can count on Rigby to be there to wake him! This 4.2-inch tall figure carries a large grey boombox and isn’t easily impressed—you can tell by his furrowed brow, long nose, and striped tail curled around his legs, even with his round white eyes.

Mordecai has started a new job at Youtooz National Park, and his mission is to become a collectible figure! This vinyl figure shows him taking a break – he’s slumped onto a hard wooden bench, measuring 4.2 inches tall. His blue hands are resting on the bench, his beak is open, eyes are closed, and his grey legs dangle down.

I’m so excited to see Regular Show revisiting its original characters! It feels like a great throwback before Lost Tapes expands the whole Cartoon Network world again. What are your thoughts? Let’s chat about it over in the ComicBook Forum – come join the discussion!
