Remarkably Bright Creatures cast: Full guide to actors in Netflix’s adaptation

The highly anticipated movie ‘Remarkably Bright Creatures’ is now available on Netflix. It’s based on the popular 2022 novel by Shelby Van Pelt.

I recently heard about this incredibly touching story – it centers around a woman who’s lost her husband and finds an unexpected connection with an octopus at the aquarium where she works. Alongside her journey, we also meet a young man who’s just moved to town, searching for a sense of belonging and family. It sounds like a really beautiful and moving film!

Both the book and the recent movie tell a story about friendship and family, all set against a backdrop of loss and sadness.

Olivia Newman directed and co-wrote the screenplay for the new Netflix film, building on her experience adapting books for the screen – she previously directed the film version of ‘Where the Crawdads Sing’.
