Renowned Naruto Star Joins Jujutsu Kaisen As The Most Underrated Character

Be warned: This article reveals major plot points from the Jujutsu Kaisen manga! Season 3 of Jujutsu Kaisen kicks off the Culling Game, promising some of the series’ most thrilling and brutal fights. This deadly free-for-all is the result of Kenjaku’s scheming after the events in Shibuya. With Satoru Gojo now trapped, Kenjaku is free to move forward with his plans. A new character appearing in the anime is Hanyu, a recently awakened sorcerer. While not a prominent character in the manga, she’ll be voiced by the incredibly talented Junko Takeuchi, famous for voicing Naruto Uzumaki from the popular manga series by Masashi Kishimoto.

Besides her other work, she’s also the voice of Gon in Hunter x Hunter and Mr. Beast in the English dubs of his videos. While she hasn’t appeared in the show yet, the popular Jujutsu Kaisen fan account @Go_Jover announced she’ll be voicing Hanyu. They also shared that Eiji Takemoto, a well-known voice actor who has played characters like Drake in One Piece, Miles in Ace Attorney, and Uvogin in Hunter x Hunter, will voice Hanyu’s partner, Haba.

Jujutsu Kaisen Is All Set to Commence The Fights in The Culling Game

The students at Tokyo Jujutsu High are now caught up in the chaos caused by the villain, having to battle new threats while also trying to rescue him from the Prison Realm. The next part of the story will kick off with a fight, and we’ll meet a lot of new characters on both sides. The villain, Kenjaku, has forced around a thousand sorcerers into a deadly game called the Culling Game – many of them are either new to their powers or are possessed by ancient spirits. In the upcoming Episode 7 of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3, Hanyu and Haba will battle Yuji.

The fight will likely be short, as both characters only appear in a couple of episodes. The trailer offered just a quick peek at the action without introducing either fighter. The scene starts with Hanyu unexpectedly attacking Yuji, blasting him through two buildings with her abilities. He then has to fight two other sorcerers who are newly awakened and see the newer, less experienced fighters as easy targets.

I’ve been watching Yuji, and he’s really come into his own – he’s definitely not someone to underestimate anymore. Especially after everything that happened in Shibuya, he’s gained a lot of power, now wielding the energy from fifteen of Sukuna’s fingers. If you’re following the anime, new episodes drop on Crunchyroll at 9 AM Pacific Time, usually just an hour after they air in Japan. They’re also releasing dubbed episodes weekly, but they lag a bit behind the original, subbed versions by about two weeks. The next subbed episode, Season 3 Episode 7, is scheduled for February 12th, and it looks like it will continue to follow Yuji and his friends as they figure out what to do next.
