Thunderful Games and Sad Cat Studios have announced that their sci-fi action platformer, REPLACED, will now launch on April 14th. The game was originally scheduled for March 12th and will be available on Xbox Series and PC through Steam, the Epic Games Store, the Microsoft Store, and GOG.
Here is the full message from Sad Cat Studios on the one-month delay:
An Update on REPLACED
We’re announcing a change to the release date of REPLACED. After careful consideration, we’ve decided to launch the game on April 14, 2026.
We’re a small team making our first game, and we’ve put our hearts into it. The game is complete, but we’ve realized we need a few extra weeks to make sure it’s the best it can be. We want you to have a smooth, stable, and polished experience with REPLACED when it launches, and this extra time will help us deliver on that vision.
We’re incredibly grateful for your continued patience and support. Seeing your enthusiasm throughout this development process has been a huge motivation, especially as we near the finish line. We’re almost there and can’t wait for you to finally experience what we’ve been working on for years! If you’d like an early look, the demo is still available on Steam.
We appreciate your support and kindness throughout this process. We look forward to seeing you again on April 14, 2026.
—The Sad Cat Studios Team
