Capcom shared a video update from Resident Evil Requiem director Koshi Nakanishi, detailing upcoming additions to the game. These include a photo mode, a new mini-game, a story expansion, and a special surprise planned for May.
Here is the full message from Nakanishi:
Hi, I’m Nakanishi, the director of Resident Evil Requiem. We launched the game on February 27th, and we’re incredibly grateful for the amazing support from our players! We’ve already sold over five million copies, and the entire development team sends their thanks.
We recently released an update to resolve several problems, and we’re continuing to work on fixing any remaining bugs and improving performance. Plus, we have plans to add even more content in the future.
Okay, so first off, we’re finally getting photo mode – I’m so hyped for that! But get this, there’s even more coming in May. We’re actually adding a whole mini-game, which is a really awesome surprise!
We hope to continue providing support on Resident Evil Requiem to live up to its positive reception.
Oh… one more thing.
Whoops…

Not this one.

Here!

We are planning to make extra story content!
We’re currently developing the world of Requiem and will be sharing more details soon. It’s a complex project, so we appreciate your patience and excitement as we work on it.
Thank you all again for your support!
Hey everyone, just wanted to let you know that Resident Evil Requiem is finally out! You can grab it now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, and PC – I’ve already got it downloaded on Steam, and I’m super excited to jump in!
