Resident Evil Requiem Guide – All Puzzle Solutions And Safe Codes

The Resident Evil series has always included puzzles and safe cracking, and Resident Evil Requiem continues that tradition. While these puzzles aren’t overly difficult, some players might still be having trouble figuring them out.

This Resident Evil Requiem guide quickly lists all the puzzles and safe combinations found in the game.

Chairman’s Office Puzzle Box

Get the pencil from the back of the Chairman’s Office. Use it to lightly shade the notebook inside the office, and you’ll see the combination.

From left to right, the sequence is:

  • Moon
  • Sun
  • Star
  • Moon

Lead Researcher’s Office Puzzle Box

First, find the Corrosive in the Conference Room – it’s just down the hall from the Lead Researcher’s Office. Then, use the Corrosive to dissolve the padlock on the Lead Researcher’s Office door.

As for the solution, the symbols are hidden within the photos around the office itself.

From left to right, the sequence is:

  • Star
  • Sun
  • Moon
  • Sun

Organ Transport Box

The solution to this is acquired from the previous puzzle.

In your inventory, examine the box so that you can rotate it and view the rear panel.

Turn the round knob to ‘HAND’.

Move the slider on the right to the center.

From the row of toggle switches along the top left:

  • Drop 2
  • Drop 5

Turn the round knob back to ‘AUTO’.

Security Manager’s Office Puzzle Box

Emily automatically opens the box with a cutscene, so you don’t need to solve it. Examine both the box and the book, then pick up the ID Wristband from the table. Go back to Emily through the Central Hall safe room and lead her to the box.

Blood Specimen (Denatured)

Located in the Care Center’s Blood Lab.

Simply select the second of the three cubes.

Blood Specimen (Converged)

Located in the Closet of the Care Center’s Waiting Room behind a door lock.

From the top row of cubes, select the middle or lowest one.

From the bottom row of cubes, select the middle one, or second from the bottom.

Blood Specimen (Reversible)

The room, accessed through a locked door in the Care Center’s Blood Lab, is opened using the ID wristband.

Begin by choosing the cube in the bottom left corner. Then, move diagonally up and to the right, and select the cube that’s lower of the two stacked on top of each other.

The third cube is located in the upper right corner. From there, move diagonally down and to the left, choosing the lower of the two cubes that are stacked on top of each other. This will give you a total of four selections.

Blood Specimen (Polymerized)

On Insanity difficulty, this Blood Specimen replaces the Reversible one if you find it in the same location.

Starting from the left, select the middle cube in the foreground

Next is the middle cube directly opposite it on the right.

The last cube is positioned in the middle of the background and links the other two together.

Safe Combinations

The codes to open safes are consistent on Easy and Normal difficulties, but they change when playing on Hard mode.

Lounge Safe

Default:

  • Left 10
  • Right 80
  • Left 30

Insanity:

  • Right 20
  • Left 50
  • Right 30

Examination Room Safe

Default:

  • Right 30
  • Left 10
  • Right 50

Insanity:

  • Left 50
  • Right 30
  • Left 90

Basement Safe

Default:

  • Right 60
  • Left 40
  • Right 80

Insanity:
