To solve the Detonator puzzle in Resident Evil Requiem, you need to find several key items hidden throughout East Raccoon City. You’ll then have to combine or repair these items to create the different parts needed for the Detonator.

Distributor
Open a yellow container at the northern end of the Logistics Warehouse Roof.
Broken Signal Receiver
Open another yellow container at the northern end of the Cedarbrook Apartments Roof.
Distributor & Broken Signal Receiver
After you’ve collected both the Broken Signal Receiver and the Distributor, you can combine them in your inventory.
Repair Kit
Open BSAA Container 02.
Distributor & Signal Receiver
Okay, so once I’ve managed to snag both the Repair Kit and the Distributor & Broken Signal Receiver, the good news is the Distributor will automatically fix itself just by being in my inventory! No extra steps needed, thankfully.
Relay
Open yet another yellow container at the northern end of Willis Tower.
Detonator
After you’ve obtained both the Relay and the Distributor & Signal Receiver, you can combine them in your inventory.
