
On February 27, 2026, Capcom plans to debut the Resident Evil Village Gold Edition for Nintendo Switch 2, according to their recent announcement.
The survival horror game, Resident Evil Village, was initially released on May 7, 2021, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC (via Steam). Subsequently, it became available for Nintendo Switch through cloud streaming on October 28, 2022. Lastly, it made its way to iPhone, iPad, and Mac on October 30, 2023.
The “Gold Edition” of “Resident Evil Village” offers access to extra downloadable items, namely “Winters’ Expansion” and “Trauma Pack.
