Following a recent preview, Sony has now officially announced the new games coming to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium. The lineup starts on January 20th with Resident Evil Village as the main attraction for players on both PS4 and PS5.
A key addition to the library is Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, the newest installment in the series, continuing the turn-based combat style first seen in Yakuza: Like a Dragon. Also now available on PS5 and PS4 are A Little to the Left, art of rally, Expeditions: A MudRunner Game, The Exit 8, and Darkest Dungeon 2.
Okay, so the new A Quiet Place game is only available on the PS5, which is a bit of a bummer for others. Honestly, it’s not the best survival horror game out there, but if you enjoyed the movies, it might be worth checking out. As for PlayStation Premium, they’re adding the classic Ridge Racer – thankfully, you can play that on both PS5 and PS4!
This game includes all the features you’d expect from a classic racing title, like quick save, rewind, up-rendering, and customizable filters. Ultimately, it’s Ridge Racer – a timeless arcade racer. Whether you’re perfecting your lap times in Time Trials or competing against the computer in Battle Mode, it delivers the classic racing experience you remember.
