On July 25th, “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” hits theaters, and General Mills is transporting fans to the ’60s with a special edition of Lucky Charms cereal, exclusively available at Walmart. The vintage-style box design resembles one seen in the movie, but the 21st-century Four Foldout toy inside is a modern twist. Each box includes a “free” limited edition Johnny Storm / Human Torch 3.5-inch figure with a 2-inch round base – though we should note that while the box claims it’s free, the standard family size 8.6-oz boxes of Lucky Charms usually cost around $14 less than this special edition. Essentially, you’re paying a premium for the figure and retro packaging.

This unique product is now available for purchase on Amazon at its standard price of $14.99 per 12-pack. Additionally, you can find a 6-pack on sale at Walmart for $6.48. We’ve had a taste and can confirm that it does indeed resemble Fruity Pebbles, although there is a slight unpleasant aftertaste. Combining it with Lucky Charms could make for an intriguing culinary adventure!
