In Rhell: Warped Worlds & Troubled Times, you’re a feisty mage investigating a mysterious disappearance. This puzzle adventure takes place in a semi-open world, and you can solve challenges in unique ways by combining 40 different magical runes – there’s no single right answer!
What if Every Puzzle Had Multiple Solutions, and Half of Them Were Things You Invented?
In the world of Rhell, you begin with four magical runes and can find more while you explore. You can use up to five runes at a time, mixing and matching them in any way you like to overcome challenges. For example, if you need to press two buttons simultaneously but only have one pair of hands, you can create a copy of yourself and turn it into a puddle to hold down the switch. Or, if you need a quick ride, you can bring a rock to life and use it as a vehicle! The possibilities are endless, and the magic is yours to control.
The World’s Gone Quiet
The world is eerily empty – almost everyone is gone, leaving behind only twelve survivors and a lot of unanswered questions. You play as Rhell, a witty and resourceful mage, who ventures into abandoned ruins seeking clues. You’ll uncover ancient secrets, decipher fragments of the past, and try to understand the disaster that occurred. The other survivors have their ideas about what happened, but you may discover a truth far more bizarre than they imagine. What begins as a puzzling mystery quickly evolves into a reality-shattering quest.
Discover Your Own Path
Explore nine unique and beautifully detailed areas at your own speed – including sunken libraries, underwater cities, fiery factories, and glittering caves. Each location has its own story to tell through its environment, hidden details, and intriguing characters. You’ll be rewarded for careful exploration, as some areas are connected in surprising ways. The world itself is a mystery, and the more you investigate, the more you’ll uncover. Whether you’re focused on the main story or distracted by interesting details, there’s always another secret nearby.
Shape Your Story
As you play, your choices impact Rhell’s personality. Helping those in need will make her a kinder, more compassionate character. If you ignore others, she’ll remain the direct and outspoken mage she begins as. Explore different endings based on how helpful – or unhelpful – you choose to be.
