RHONY’s Sai de Silva, David Craig Break Up After 9 Years of Marriage

Sai de Silva and David Craig are closing the book on this chapter. 

After nine years of marriage and almost two decades as a couple, the husband of a star from The Real Housewives of New York City filed for divorce in New York on April 2nd, according to court records obtained by TopMob News.

Craig has initiated a lawsuit against Silva. He is listed as the plaintiff in the legal documents. Silva, who shares two children – London, 14, and Rio, 8 – with Craig, is named as the defendant and hasn’t yet made any public statement about the case.

TopMob News has reached out to reps for Silva and an attorney for Craig but has not yet heard back. 

Silva was part of the 2023 cast update for RHONY, joining Erin Lichy and Jessel Taank. Craig has appeared on the show from time to time.

Just recently, Silva directly responded to claims that she had an affair with her husband while he was still married to his former wife.

Sai shared on the fifteenth season’s ninth episode that she met David six years following his divorce, and that she actually has a copy of his divorce papers.

Several former cast members, including Brynn Whitfield, Jenna Lyons, Ubah Hassan, Rebecca Minkoff, and Racquel Chevremont, had talked about rumors that Silva was involved in someone else’s relationship, but she clarified the situation.

You know, dealing with public life means you get used to rumors, and honestly, it can be hurtful. When I heard those claims about me, I had to laugh – it was so far from the truth! It’s just how the internet works, though. Silva actually wrote about how she and her husband first met in a 2017 blog post—the year they got married. It happened while she was on vacation back in 2009.

Silva remembered being really unpleasant while her husband was away on business. She admitted she was feeling the effects of a night out and wasn’t at her best, blaming her own choices for how she felt.
