Okay, PSVR2 fans, get ready! I just saw that a new game is coming out really soon, and Sony is actually talking about it on the PlayStation Blog. It’s so good to see they haven’t forgotten about the headset!
Okay, so I just saw a trailer for this new VR game called Rager, and it looks awesome. If you’re into games like Beat Saber – you know, slicing and dicing to the beat – this is totally up your alley. It’s coming to PSVR2 on March 5th, 2026, and I’m already marking my calendar!
Rager, created by Insane Prey and published by Impact Inked, is a game where you battle robots attacking from every side – and their attacks move in time with the music.
Time your attacks, dodges, and blocks to the rhythm of the music! As you progress through the game’s levels and fight bosses, you’ll unlock a variety of weapons, each with its own unique feel and handling.
A heavy hammer requires using both hands, but swords and maces are designed for fast, accurate attacks.
The main campaign limits your weapon choices at each level, but Freestyle mode lets you use whatever weapons you like and play however you prefer.
Rager delivers smooth gameplay at a natural 90 frames per second. It also enhances immersion with advanced features like foveated rendering and the responsive haptic feedback of the PSVR2 headset.
This seems really promising, particularly if you enjoy VR rhythm games such as Pistol Whip and Synth Riders.
