Richard Osman announced he’s leaving his role as host of the popular game show, Richard Osman’s House of Games, after nine years.
Osman is stepping down as host, and a new presenter will be announced soon.
This series has been a regular part of BBC Two and iPlayer’s programming since 2017 and remains popular. The most recent season attracted over 1.6 million viewers.
Richard Osman, author of The Thursday Murder Club, will record one last set of episodes before stepping down as host of the show.
Osman announced that after nine wonderful years, he’s stepping down as host of House of Games. He expressed how much he’s enjoyed working with the show’s fantastic team and is now excited for a new host to take over.

You can still watch Osman on BBC Two! The show is currently having a special ‘redemption week’ where popular former contestants who almost won get another chance to compete in a series of quizzes chosen by Osman himself.
Tamara Gilder from Remarkable Entertainment said they’re very thankful for Richard’s wonderful work hosting the show for the last nine seasons and that they’ll really miss him. She also mentioned that ‘House of Games’ is a very popular show and they have some exciting new developments planned, which they’ll share soon.
