Developer Milestone has shared more information about the career mode in their upcoming motorcycle racing game, RIDE 6. A new trailer shows that RIDE 6 will feature ‘RIDE Fest’, a new system that replaces the usual championship structure with a more flexible approach. Players will have more control over which races and events they participate in, and the game will introduce a chapter-based progression system that lets you advance in new ways.
Players can choose from a wide range of events, including quick races, full championships, time trials, and long-distance challenges. These events are grouped into themed sections based on things like the bike brand, bike type, the racetrack itself, and even the weather. Plus, players can compete in special, legendary championships.
RIDE 6 will feature ten famous motorcycle racers as challenging final bosses in each chapter. These include well-known names like Troy Bayliss, Casey Stoner, and James Toseland, as well as racers like Niccolò Canepa, Peter Hickman, and Ian Hutchinson. Each racer will test players with challenges suited to their racing specialty – for instance, Guy Martin will focus on road racing. Winning against these legends unlocks rewards such as their iconic bikes and gear. Players will need to build their reputation and earn Fame Points by participating in relevant events before they can challenge them.
The trailer showcases the central hub of the RIDE Fest mode in RIDE 6. Called the Ride FEST paddock, this area will be where players access most in-game activities. It’s also a place to hang out with other riders and customize bikes and gear.
The motorcycle racing game, RIDE 6, was announced in November and will be available on PC (through the Epic Games Store and Steam), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S starting February 12th. Milestone has also announced that players will have a chance to play the game early, though details on how to get early access – such as through pre-orders or a special Deluxe Edition – haven’t been revealed yet.
The upcoming racing game will have a lot of new features! In addition to the recently announced RIDE Fest career mode, players can look forward to exciting new event types that take the action off-road. The game, called RIDE 6, will launch with over 340 bikes from 21 different manufacturers, organized into 7 categories, each offering unique racing experiences.
Players can compete on 45 unique track layouts, spanning the globe with both real-world and fictional locations. The game features famous, challenging circuits, and also offers plenty of off-road racing where players will need to handle tough terrain like dirt and gravel.
