Developer Milestone just released a detailed gameplay trailer for their upcoming racing game, RIDE 6. The over six-minute trailer highlights many new features, including the addition of Maxi Enduro motorcycles and dedicated tracks for them. It also showcases the variety of racing options, from traditional superbike races to drift challenges and even races with powerful Bagger motorcycles.
The trailer highlights detailed gameplay from both a Maxi Enduro race and a Bagger-class motorcycle race. The Maxi Enduro section demonstrates how the game’s physics will handle different surfaces, like dirt and varying tire grip. Then, the trailer showcases Bagger racing, which focuses on fast speeds and precise handling on smooth asphalt, testing players’ ability to navigate challenging turns and stay on the track.
The race showcases incredibly fast superbike speeds, exceeding 250 km/h, before riders must brake sharply for tight turns. It then shifts to a drift-focused competition where riders race against the clock on challenging tracks filled with twists and corners.
I’m super hyped about RIDE 6! It was just announced last month, and it’s bringing a ton of cool stuff to the series. The biggest addition, from what I’ve heard, is this new career mode called RIDE Fest. It’s basically a touring festival where I can play at my own speed and focus on the kinds of races I enjoy most. I’ll be stepping into the boots of a rider trying to become the best in the world, and I’ll have to challenge ten legendary two-wheel racers to get there – names like Casey Stoner, Troy Bayliss, and even Guy Martin! It sounds amazing.
Launching on February 12th, RIDE 6 will include over 340 motorcycles from 21 different manufacturers. Players will have a wide variety of bikes to choose from – including Baggers, Maxi Enduro bikes, and Superbikes – categorized into 7 different types. You’ll be able to ride these bikes on 45 diverse race tracks inspired by real-world locations, featuring both iconic circuits and brand-new, fictional layouts.
The new racing game is coming to PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S, and is being built with Unreal Engine 5. It will focus on creating a more realistic experience with improved graphics and authentic bike sounds. Players will be able to choose between two different handling systems: an accessible Arcade mode for beginners, and a more demanding Pro mode for those seeking a realistic simulation.
RIDE 6 will also feature cross-platform multiplayer, as well as split-screen multiplayer.
